The room was shabby and the hotel has the air of a care home furnished with junk from a charity shop. I would suggest they get the decorators and interior designers into action soon. Dinner was very mediocre and breakfast passable.

Really nice old building which is in need of a serious refurb. Rooms look as though they were last decorated in about 1985 (seriously). Sofas in the bar look like something you would see in cheap student accommodation. No hot water for shower, no way to adjust heating in rooms. Staff are friendly enough but utterly disorganised. Toilets in need... More

We arrived early on Friday afternoon for our friends wedding we had booked a room in the court as the mansion rooms were so expensive these were still £190 for two nights including wedding party discount. Room 17 in the court seemed nice if it did smell musty and the view was over two gas tanks and very over grown.... More

This is 10 miles from the NEC and I was very surprised how rural a peaceful it was. Well away from the road so there is no traffic noise. Lovely to wander through the grounds and the old Chapel. The room was good, service was very good and the restaurant was also good. Only disappointing aspects were the breakfast and... More

Staff were lovely however the main hotel itself is somewhat tired in decoration. NO WIFI at all really to speak of so not at all good for business travellers, as we all were! Breakfast was excellent in terms of quality and service and as i had a cold and sore throat I asked a waitress for some lemon and she... More

I went with some friends to the spa in the hotel for a spa afternoon which was a good price at £40. Included was a yummy lunch of a nice home made baguette with a sprig of salad, we sat in the garden room to eat which was very pretty and full of character. We were then given robes and... More

We picked Wroxall because it had leisure facilites and a resturant in a rural setting. Unfortunately the leisure facilities really let it down. The jacuzzi was cold - barely any warmer than the pool. The pool was much smaller in reality than the pictures, and the steam room didn't work at all. The sauna worked - for about five minutes... More

The abbey building are fabulous. The staff very friendly, we arrived very late and were still accommodated with some food. Room was very clean and comfortable, we had an attic room which was very spacious. Restaurant was excellent. Grounds Beautiful. Very good value for noney and will return for certain.

All the staff were friendly and helpful, the grounds were beautiful and the room was large with a Jacuzzi bath. The gym and pool were enough for us that were looking for a lazy couple of days with a bit of exercise. I can't rate the spa because a treatment I had booked was cancelled due to staff sickness, which... More

I took my girlfriend here for a relaxing weekend, I was drawn by the facilities, primarily the swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. The weekend was great and very relaxing. There were a couple of things that if were ironed out would make this an amazing place. When we checked in we were given a room that would be a... More
