My husband and I stayed here for two nights last week. We booked based on the outstanding reviews of previous residents. However....the bed was uncomfortable with a dip in the middle and the room was definitely looking tired/old and in need of redecoration. The en-suite shower room sported a 'strobe effect' light - you had to turn the light on... More

What a brilliant little hotel so glad we came across it. Nice and central within walking distance of the centre, racecourse and castle. The room was very comfy and spotless and what lovely people. We had breakfast on both days and it was just perfect, wish I could cook eggs like that :-),Would definately recommend this little gem.

Spent a really fabulous weekend here with friends. Very clean and comfy room and the breakfast was excellent. The lovely lady who served us kept us well supplied with extra tea and rounds of toast! In fact, we found all the staff(and the regulars in the bar) extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is well placed for visiting the castle... More

Called in here. We found they did Good honest pub grub, and a bar full of real ales. Sean's Irish stew was to die for. Would return to eat and drink, may even try staying. Colleagues have stayed here and found it ok.

I stay regularly for several nights at a time, when working in Warwick. The first time I did so was because it was the last room available that I could find in the environs. I intended to move out to a larger hotel on my next visit but I found the welcome, the atmosphere and the comfort so suitable that... More

Just returned from a Great weekend stay in Warick. Stayed in the Old Fourpenny Shop Hotel. The rooms are comfy and very clean. The staff couldn't do enough, always pleasant. Only a short walk from town centre. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Thanks for a fantastic stay. Will certainly stay here again when next in the area.

The staff are always very friendly here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are very filling! Excellent beer quality in the bar too! Would recommend this to anyone on business or for pleasure, as it is only a short walk into the main part of Warwick.

We came to stay at the end of January and had a lovely time! We were greeted by a young man who was incredibly friendly and explained everything we needed to know! Our room was away from the pub and in the court yard. It was warm, quiet and cosy. It's not fancy...but it has a home from home feel... More
