We had an excellent stay at the Old Fourpenny Hotel. The staff were very friendly, breakfasts and bar were both of a very good quality. Our room was very comfortable and warm - particularly welcome as it was very cold outside. Location was very convenient (5 minutes walk to centre), and as a previous reviewer stated parking was a plus.... More

Stayed here for just the one night in December as a base for a short stay in Warwick. Ideally located near the castle & town centre, nice bar area, rooms were spacious, clean & tidy. Private car park which is always a plus. Had a lovely breakfast the following morning. Very reasonable price for our stay & great value for... More

We thought this was a good value, friendly hotel, centrally based with a good bar. All the staff were friendly and the breakfast very tasty. The room and bathroom were a very good size and the facilities generously provided.

A trip down memory lane - our first visit for 20 years or so and not much has changed. Stayed in the courtyard which was quiet. Rooms are adequate size but not over roomy and have drop leaf table for spreading your work if you must. Maybe a bit tired in places. Shame they don't do evening meals as the... More

used to love this one, but real ale choice has been disappointing on last few visits, and the passion & tradition of this great establishment seems to have been lost for some reason. Seems to strange to say when there is a choice of 6 real ales, but it all seemed very safe and uninteresting compared to how it was... More

After a worrying start because when we arrived the proprietor told us the booking should not have happened because he was infant full!! He then proceeded to explain that we could use one of the rooms in his own home across the road, which was very nice and seemed to be a hotel room anyway, so if he didn't mind... More

I really want to give this hotel a 3.5 as my stay was not an excellent rating. My room was ok but when I went to pull the blind there were things drop from it on to the bed which I believe were small buds from trees. The room was comfortable but small and my bed was ok. The shower... More

Stayed here with little expectation but they allowed dogs! What an utterly lovely find. Friendliest service from all concerned throughout our stay. Simple but clean and comfortable rooms (we had room 8 in the courtyard) with ample parking. Fab location in Warwick and next to the racecourse for the dogs morning run and not to mention a fabulous selection of... More

We stayed here on a birthday weekend away. The building is charming, tucked away down a side street but only a 10 minute walk from the town centre. The hotel has its own car parking but it is a very small car park accessed via a very narrow entrance. The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. All... More

Tucked away in a side street, close to the centre of town, this small, inexpensive hotel knocks the spots off its larger, local rivals. Our double room was spacious, comfortable and clean, the bed was reassuringly soft and the decor and furniture was tasteful and relaxing. We also liked the en suite bathroom, which was roomy and fitted out to... More
