I can't comment about the accomodation as I didn't sleep/stay here but the wife and I had a three course meal in the restaurant/pub downstairs and it was fantastic. The chicken and vegetable soup was like nothing I had had before and it was amazing. Our waitress/bar staff was very good as well. I can certainly recommend this place for... More

We chose this as the only place available with parking and glad we did. A friend and I met there not having seen each other for 25 years so a special time. Staff very good, friendly and couldn't do more. Only little parking but plenty free parking across the road so no issue. Fabulous, quirky character, sloping walks, little mind... More

I am giving the a hotel 4 stars however this is mostly to do with its history and charm, not for its quality and attention to detail. The hotel is fantastic. Full of history and loads of original features. You should stay because of the sloping floors, warped beams, coats of armour and doors which have been made to fit... More

Upon arriving we were greeted by Lucy, the lovely friendly bar girl,, we checked in and went to our room, the four poster, it was ideal for a romantic break, the hotel itself was old and spooky which made it all the more better,,, Lucy informed us all about the castle how to get there and 2 for 1 entry... Fabulous 15th century Inn with lots of character. A warm and friendly place with exceptionally helpful staff, who could not do enough to make your stay a pleasant one. Great home cooked food is an absolute bonus. Room was outstanding. Would definitely stay here again. Short walking distance to town, castle and museums.

Travelling approx once a year its lovely to go back and see some old faces, brings something personal to the experience. Once again enjoyed my stay and will be back again! Shame others continue to moan but that's the norm for us humans, cannot please all. The building is going to have slanty ceilings as its listed so there's little... More

Stayed 3 nights while visiting family in Warwick. I was given half information when booking re. cancellations & parking, same as other reviews. We were in room 3. It is small, but it was literally somewhere to put our head down, so not really bothered by size. Bathroom, had bath with a shower head which you had to hold while... More

As a group of 10 this was the only place that could accommodate us all. Having stayed there we now know why. The 'ample parking' turned out to be 4 places outside one of which was taken by an old Focus with 3 flat tyres so most of us had to park in a side road; not a problem but... More
