All in all it was very pleasant. Rooms are fine, nothing fancy but with character. The Inn itself is full of character, beautiful furniture, cozy fireplace all very well setup. People were nice, breakfast was also very nice. My only advice is, drink wine or beer from bottle, their tap beer taste a bit like a rust. Dinner was also... More

One of the major advantages of the Kings Head is that it has parking onsite - very unusual in Central Warwick. The room I stayed in was a bit tired and also a bit cold, the en suite shower room was colder as it had no heating. Staff were pleasant and the cooked breakfast was excellent. The stair carpets have... More

We stayed here for one night only. We had room 4 and it was spacious and had a really historical feel to it. The pub is over 400 years old and we appreciated the building for its quirkiness and age. The four poster bed was a good touch but the mattress was in desperate need of changing as it was... More

We received a warm welcome. The staff were friendly, and the service attentive and efficient. The menu offered a good range of food, which was served promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch in a relaxed atmosphere. If we ever pass by again we would certainly call in again.

Stayed here for one dreadful night , On arrival young guy was very friendly and showed us up to our room up the smelly staircase . Then it got worse , filthy carpet , beds that need to be binned as the mattresses are completely gone damp walls and generally smelled everywhere I went to sainsburys for air freshener .... More

This is a quaint and cosy little hotel. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are fairly basic and have all you need but it is the cosy atmosphere and simply wonderful breakfasts that make it worthwhile. Personal breakfasts requests were handled brilliantly, even last minute changes. And parking on site is huge bonus.

Lovely little hotel. Please don't be alarmed by the bad reviews, this is a typical older building which does creek and can be noisy but this is all part of the experience. Hotel was very clean and basic but for the price what else do you expect? Hotel location was perfect for the castle and the square. Castle was a... More

We stayed one night here as we were spending the evening in Warwick. We checked in and the staff were really friendly, the stairs and corridor are quite dated but I thought it was charming rather than off putting. We stayed in room 8 at the top of the hotel and the room was lovely - 4 poster bed and... More

On Arrival the staff were very friendly and polite. Showed us to our room - room 1. The stairs and landing leading to the room need some tlc but I guess there is a lot of traffic. On entering our room I first thought "nice they have left the window open", then the smell of mold hit me and I... More

Lovely stay. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The food inexpensive and good quality, we ate both nights. Breakfast was also good. From The Hotel itself, the castle is a leisurely 10 minute walk through the town centre. The rooms are clean and tidy if a bit basic. The bed was big and comfortable. There are tea and coffee making... More
