I totally agree with all the other reviews having just spent two nights at the hotel. Hotel very dated and shabby and in need of complete refurbishment. Our room was right at the back of the hotel via a maze of narrow and unpleasant smelling corridors. The room had wallpaper coming off the wall, electric sockets that left much to... More

We spent a night at the Lord Leycester and must confess to being relieved that it was just the one night. Its sole redeeming facet is its location, which is central. Otherwise the hotel is generally pretty grubby. The corridors of the hotel smell strongly of urine and the rooms really are rather unpleasant. I would not return in a... More

Parents booked us a couple of rooms here for a one night stay following a track day in Kenilworth. Perfect location in teh centre of town a massive boost plus the off street parking makes it a superb location to explore Warwick and for the Castle, however the interior, especially the rooms are in desperate need of refurbmishment! Very cheap... More

My partner & I stopped in this hotel last night. We had a wedding to go to and therefore others had booked a room aswell. After discussing their experience along with our own, we were assured we are all share the same views and opinions. Luckily we arrived at 11.45pm and were out by 9am. This hotel really is poor.... Great location, lovely staff and you get what you pay for here. Decor is dated and plumbing unpredictable, but it has a certain charm😀 walls are thin and floors very creaky I was glad I took my ear plugs! Try Bread .,& Co for breakfast or lunch, just down on Smith street_ excellent food and lovely atmosphere!

We stayed one night for a concert at Warwick Castle. The first thing to say is this hotel is in a super location if you are going to a concert and that is the best thing about the hotel. Depending upon what you are used to will determine if you decide to book it. I have put my observations below... More

We checked in and were given a room on the 3rd floor which was a task in itself to find. Lift to the second floor then through 2 corridors and up some stairs x2. When we got to our room it was literally like something from the 1970s, with the scent of an old peoples home. The TV was an... More

Room 101 was grim with a dirty grubby carpet, odd furniture, broken sash window, sagging curtains, TV sitting on a window sill obstructing natural light. Bed and mattress needed replacing. Shower pressure non existent. Brown water from broken hot tap. Vinyl flooring the grubbiest I've ever seen anywhere. Thankfully just a one-night stay. Awful and I couldn't wait to get... More
