When we arrived it looked like a building site, which we were not told, and the clientele in the pub were, how can we say it nicely, a bit rough. The lady showed us to our room, which was very basic but didn't tell us what time breakfast was. When we turned up for breakfast literally 5 minutes late, they... More

Me and my other half have just stayed at this lovely little pub for the weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. It was a brilliant price for two people for two nights, it also has breakfast included for free, and they even let us take it to our room to eat. The bar staff and the family who own a chain... Travelling in the Midlands for business, I had a meeting in Birmingham the next day and decided I would stay somewhere with a bit more character. Decided Warwick and thought I would go city centre, nice meal, couple of pints and then a nice sleep in a traditional coaching inn. Sounds good. Oh no it wasn't, this place is truly... More

The booking was for two adults and our dog. Upon arrival one hand towel had been placed on the bed, no bath towels at all - for two people? The room was tiny, the bed in a corner so if one person wanted to get out they have to climb over the other. This room (No. 7) is only suitable... More

Stayed here in November 2014 and will not be coming back again. The room was filthy with stains on the carpet and the shower was more of a trickle. This particular room was situated next to the Inn's sign on the main road and the blinds did not stop the light coming through which further disrupted my sleep. The room... More

I booked this accommodation in the last minute after my previously booked accommodation (Broad Oak B&B) at Solihull turned out to be overbooked. This inn had everything what I needed, the staff was really friendly and breakfast was more than I could eat. My only problem was the location as I had to travel there but it was not their fault.

Fab location , 10 minutes walk into town. The cost of the room was really good value for money. The breakfast was lovely and the service really friendly. Bathroom ceiling could do with a lick of paint and shower not great but bedding clean and bed comfortable.

Very good location ! Basic b n b ! Reasonable price. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was yummy. Overall a basic b n b , don't expect any luxury if you just need a bed for a night and a pub atmosphere then The Black Horse is an ok place.

Stayed for 3 nights while exhibiting at the NEC. Room was clean, staff friendly and overall price was very reasonable! The breakfast was delicious and served with a smile. It's a basic B&B nothing fancy, that's also great value for money!

We use hotels every week for business purposes and occasionally have to alter the booking if the jobs take more or less time. The team finished a job early and checked out a day early. Although we gave notice, the hotel took more from the company credit card than they said would over the phone. Very unscrupulous.
