The Black Horse is a good basic B&B Inn. The location, close to town and attractions, is a recommendation. The Inn provides exactly what it says it will. Not spectacular but otherwise satisfactory for the price paid.

Centrally located with a short walk to town, friendly staff, cooked breakfast and a clean room. Some reviews seem unduly harsh - it's a bed and breakfast establishment, not the Ritz! It was good value for money. Thank you. :-)

The most horrendous night i have ever had. It sounded like a train was coming through the room all night, NO EXAGGERATION!! Dont think it was the central heating, it was more like the water supply somewhere, but my god it was LOUD. I would not stay here again.

Stayed on a Thursday night with two young children. On check in I saw that my credit card details were written in the open diary for all to see. Have phoned bank and got card stopped. Went out for a meal on a Friday evening so didn't go into the pub and as children are 5 and 8 didn't want... More

Nothing really outstanding here but excellent value for money. Not the most expensive and not the cheapest but for the amount paid could not be faulted. Access to the rooms is off the car park so no issues with a late night return. Just 10 mins walk from the centre of Warwick and the Castle but quiet and comfortable. Our... More

When we arrived it looked like a building site, which we were not told, and the clientele in the pub were, how can we say it nicely, a bit rough. The lady showed us to our room, which was very basic but didn't tell us what time breakfast was. When we turned up for breakfast literally 5 minutes late, they... More

Me and my other half have just stayed at this lovely little pub for the weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. It was a brilliant price for two people for two nights, it also has breakfast included for free, and they even let us take it to our room to eat. The bar staff and the family who own a chain... Travelling in the Midlands for business, I had a meeting in Birmingham the next day and decided I would stay somewhere with a bit more character. Decided Warwick and thought I would go city centre, nice meal, couple of pints and then a nice sleep in a traditional coaching inn. Sounds good. Oh no it wasn't, this place is truly... More

The booking was for two adults and our dog. Upon arrival one hand towel had been placed on the bed, no bath towels at all - for two people? The room was tiny, the bed in a corner so if one person wanted to get out they have to climb over the other. This room (No. 7) is only suitable... More
