Had a great stay. Can't beat the atmosphere and service. Made to feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. The couple that ran the establishment were great. Very friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing. Welsh rarebit to die for!!! Had a great anniversary with my husband. Can't wait to return. Rooms are also very clean and comfortable. Can't... More

The most recent reviews don't mirror our experience last weekend. We stayed one night and we're happy with our stay. It is what it is..a cosy inn, not flash but decent value. The bedroom was quaintly decorated, bed was comfortable and it was a decent size. The bathroom did need a lick of paint, but it did the job -... More

This hotel is an absolutely disgusting place, filthy, dirty, putting dirty towels with blood on put back on the towel rail !! The owners/managers have been so disrespectful when asking about the state of the rooms and have taken money from a card that wasn't authorised as this was only for securing the booking. All people should be aware that... More

We had an evening meal here, four adults, 3 starters, 2steaks, 1 surf and turf, 1 veggie meal, 3 beers, wine, soft drinks - not an inexpensive meal - yet when I asked for another slice of bread to go with my starter, note I did not request butter, I was informed chef had told the waiter this would have To go... The room we stayed was freezing on entering and it appears the radiator was on some kind of timer and didn't come on until 2 hours after we were checked in. The shower we had was the most temperamental thing I've ever experienced. One second it was scolding hot and then the next it was freezing cold. The slightest twist... More

If you don't want the café at Mary Arden's farm then it is a 2 minute walk to the Mary Arden pub on the other side of the cross roads. The food is pub food but I had some satay skewers with a very small salad which was quite acceptable, although it would have been better with a bit more... More

We stayed here for one night. The position of the Mary Arden is great, just a short drive from Stratford, loads of parking and at the centre of this lovely village. We were made welcome on our arrival and shown to our room which contained a huge four poster bed! The breakfast in the morning was generous in size. On... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as a weekend break. Stayed in room 12 which was light and airy with a large bathroom with all amenities. The service was excellent and welcoming. The bar was friendly and the food good value for money. The salmon and scrambled eggs was probably the best I've ever had! The setting was idyllic with... More
