We booked through Expedia looking for a deal on a deluxe room for a three day break. We were looking for a location convenient to Stratford plus good food, wifi and comfort. Unfortunately not all our wishes were fulfilled. I must note that the manager told us he had just taken over a couple of days before and the place... More

Looking forward to a well earned break in Stratford we chose the Mary Arden Inn and even treated ourselves to the Deluxe suite. So we arrived looking forward to our stay and were made welcome by the staff who gave us our key and directed us to the Romeo & Juliet suite (sounds good doesn't it...) When we went in... More

The Mary Arden Inn (MAI) is in a historic setting close to much to do with The Baird. However, the room we had thick dust on the silk flowers, had no information on the history or significance of the MAI. Had no info on the surrounding area. staff were cordial and courteous. Bed was comfortable, pillows were thin, very thin.... More

Stayed here for 1 night with my Dog, and couldn't have been made more welcome. Very friendly and accommodating. There is a nice loop on the canal if you need to walk your dog in the morning, as well. Will be back again.

We have stayed here numerous times and have always been made extremely welcome. The staff are lovely and friendly, the breakfast is freshly cooked and plentiful. The menu for lunch and evening meals is very good and the food is cooked and presented very well and everything we have eaten has been top quality. The rooms are clean comfortable and... More

Had a wonderful weekend for our anniversary in this lovely quaint inn. Wilmcote is a lovely rural village steeped in history & this pub is a little gem. The four poster room we stayed in was very luxurious, spotlessly clean & the bed so comfy! The food was excellent, the bar has a lovely atmosphere with a roaring open fire,... More

I booked this Hotel (Luxury Room) via Booking.com with my credit card and was provided with a "Guaranteed" booking confirmation . My wife and I arrived at the Inn in the picturesque village of Wilmcote at 8pm after Ladies Day at the Cheltenham Festival to be told they had no knowledge of our booking as Booking.com had not informed them...... I am sorry about your first experience at The Mary Arden Inn, I can understand your frustration over this matter. It was my night off when this happened, unfortunately a guest that turned up out of the blue was booked into your room by another member of staff by mistake, this should never of happened and is a very unlikely... Wished I took notice of the bad reviews. Do not choose this hotel. After travelling over 70 miles we arrived to be shown to our room. Nice room we had stayed about 5 years ago and booked same room. Unfortunetly no lights working in main room or bathroom. Eventually got lights on in main room but not in windowless bathroom... More

Thank you for taking the time to write this review, I can only apologise as I did on the day if you feel that your husbands birthday was ruined. When you arrived and first showed me the lights were not working as I explained to you I would have to try and find the fuse board to get the lights... More
