My husband and I stayed at the Faviere Guest House for 2 nights and we couldn't have wished for a better location. Juan and Louise made us very welcome and Juan was very knowledgeable about the local area and where to visit. Our room was facing the main road, but the traffic noise was hardly noticeable and minimal after dark.... more

We had three lovely days (2 nights) in Stratford, made even better by the accomodation. Juan was friendly, courtious and very helpful and the rooms are excelent. Our food was superb and the setting is just right "Best in class". We are avid weekenders and have stayed all over England in similar accomodation but were impressed by this mighty fine... more

We stayed for 3 nights over the Easter period and were allocated a family room on the ground floor. I was a little concerned, after reading a previous review, that traffic noise would be a problem, as well as noise from the kitchen. We had no problems from either. Juan, the proprietor apologised that the room could be noisy but... more

We think the Faviere is one of the best small guest houses we have stayed at. It is particularly good for visiting the theatre for there is a very attractive footpath that leads to it in about ten minutes. The hosts, Juan and his family, are attentive and helpful. The rooms (we keep going back) are reasonably sized, tastefully decorated... more

we stayed at the faviere for 3 nights and were given a family room (all doubles were taken). We found the owners very friendly and hospitable, and the place was spotlessly clean. the breakfast menu was varied, and you were certainly given more than you could eat! if you like your breakfasts this is the place for you, however if... more

One night stay in January so as to go to the theatre. Great location, a ten minute stroll along the old tramway at the rear of the hotel takes you into Stratford centre and theatres. Arrived really quite early but booking in was no problem nor leaving the car to do a bit of sightseeing. Louise and juan were very... more

Stayed for one midweek night early October. Had a large family room as the double was not available. Very pleasent and very clean. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. People who run it seemed nice. There's ample offroad parking and only a short 10 minute walk into the heart of Stratford. Would stay again if we visit Stratford again. more

We stopped at the Faviere Bed and Breakfast over the weekend of the 3rd March 2006, with two of our friends. We arrived to a very warm welcome by the propertiere, who took the cases, and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were a nice size comfortable, and and very clean. Breakfast was served between 7:30 -9:30am, the food... more

what a fabulous location and beautiful town, shame about the neglected retrievers, don't you realise they CRAVE human company? They need love and attention, they should not be used as an accessory. Beautiful floral displays and very clean. more

Management response from

Due to the fact that we are a guest house and not all visitors appreciate animals, they are kept in a large garden. By no means are they an accessory, they are cared and loved for very much. Comments regarding the cleanliness are good although guest only rates a 2, which once visiting our establishment you will appreciate that this...
