The location was fine, brekky was ok & Pascal was a card but the attic room is not good if you are over 5'10"... and the bed is nearly as old as the house. So just make sure you are not booking the attic & it will be a good stay. more

Nothing fancy and out of this world for this B&B, but the awesome Frenchman owner Pascal made the whole stay delightful! He took his time to explain what to do, where to go, all the places of interest with great passion but sometimes I do have a little difficulty catching up with his accent and speed, probably because I'm Asian... more

Firstly, I just want to say that Pascal is a legend. He is just very passionate about what he does, and you can tell that he is very proud of is town and his business. He went out of his way to explain to me where all the sites, pubs and eateries were in Sratford, and even moved his car... more

Firstly i would like to thank Pascal for a very enjoyable stay at Salamander guest house. He is an extremely good host, who keeps one entertained. Room: At the top of the house with a double bed. Very clean but slightly small and basic. This place is great if you will be out most of the time. Breakfast: Tasty but... more

One of the most chaming and witty Frenchman (Pascal) we have ever come across, he was very helpful in every way and how pascal got guests talking to each other was sheer charm and cleverness. Will most definately return to the Salamander next year. more

just back from a fab stay at this guest house. Room was very clean, plenty of space, though the en-suite could do with updating!!. It is very close to everything no need to use the car once it's parked up behind the house. But the hidden gem was Pascal himself!!! Very charming, witty, entertaining at breakfast and knows everything there... more

This was a great place to stay. I am 22 and found it a really really good change from hostels for a couple of days!! Pascal is great, and immediately rushed me to the theatre on the first night (which turned out to be one of the best things i've ever seen). Breakfast is really good, as is the location... more

I have stayed here many times now. Pascal is a friendly and helpful host. He ensures that breakfast is enjoyable, with everyone talking about their stay and comparing notes about the current plays at the RSC. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It's handy to the town, and the car can be parked at the rear for the entire stay... more

We were 2 adults, 1 child with adequate space on the ground floor of the B+B. We were warmly received with an umbrella on a rainy day on Easter weekend. He even helped us park our car in the tiny spot! Pascal, a wonderfully warm host whose humor and friendly nature made all his guests friends by the end of... more

Good food, great location, clean, super value for the price. Pascal is worth staying there all by himself. He is a very charming host who entertains the guests and makes sure everyone gets to know one another. He was absolutely fantastic. more
