This is a charming, very traditional style B&B just a short walk from the centre of Stratford. It's on a bus route so if you really can't walk it shouldn't be a problem I would think. Although the style of the rooms may not be to everyone's taste, for us it was a really refreshing change for the impersonal and bland modern hotel room. It was quirky, charming and very homely. The place was spotless. The landlady was just fantastic, such a friendly person. She was very accommodating at breakfast. Whatever you wanted. Full English, cereals, toast. I'm not a fan of full english and my friend is vegetarian. I had delicious local poached eggs on toast. She really went the extra mile to make you feel at home. Very chatty and helpful on local information. Incredible value for money compared to the inflated prices just up the road in the town centre.

I'm booking here next time I go to Stratford. This lovely lady made her place part of the experience for us. Don't go there... more
