Rooms OK and a good location, but a poor breakfast and very poor service from the breakfast staff. The service from the bar and reception staff was pretty good though. Not too bad but could do much better and not great value at £80 per night for a double room. more

Undoubtedly the White Swan oozes that old English charm, well the Good Companions bar and the Oak room do. I don't know what has happened to this hotel. I stayed two years ago and had a fantastic time. This time after upgrading to an executive room, it was awful. No hot water, no heating.
