We have recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights B & B. We were impressed with the setting of this hotel, lovely grounds, quiet surroundings. The room was clean and decorated with the character of the hotel in mind. We were not impressed with the breakfast choice especially as the hotel was rated 4*, there was only cereals and... More

We had a one night stay at this hotel (business and pleasure) and whilst it is in a lovely setting with pretty grounds, we wouldn't go back. The property itself is great with some wonderful, old, oak panelled rooms but the service really let's it down. We were in a standard room in the barn which was fine apart from... More

Very lovely grounds and excellent photo opportunities for 'Ye Olde England' :) Great parking. The inside is very 'old school' - and not in a particularly good way. However, lots of character. Staff very helpful but some things you'd expect just weren't available, eg ice in the bar! Bedrooms were ok, no complaints. Had a great treatment at the spa,... More

We had a last minute mini honeymoon here which was just perfect. In an attractive setting, nice room, comfortable bed, lovely waiters made us feel very welcome. Ideal for some r&r. It wasn't noisy, even the evening bash that was there on Friday finished early which was fine. Restaurant could have been more organised, but waiters made up for it,... More

This hotel is set in a wonderful location only a few minutes from countryside walks and the town of Stratford Upon Avon. We had previously looked at this venue for our wedding but decided against it due to distance to travel, so when we seen a offer on Amazon for a one night stay bed and breakfast with a 3... More

This hotel is lovely, we had a very relaxing stay here for my Birthday. The 3 course a la carte meal was great and when I had to send something back a new dish came fast with complimentary prosecco. These little attentions really made us feel looked after. We were 10 mins late for the cut off time for cream... More

we booked through lastminute.com. a good deal: however that evening as we pulled back our duvet to get into bed there was BLOOD on both the top and bottom sheets (I have photographs) This would imply they do not change the sheets between guests. Avoid this unsanitary place at all costs

We had a one night break with 3 course dinner and breakfast. The staff were brilliant, very attentive but not overbearing. The food was delicious and well presented. Breakfast had plenty of selection available, with extras such as poached eggs available on request. Beautiful surroundings and a marvellous escape. My only moan was that we booked a premium room. Our... More

We have just spent a night in this beautiful hotel and would loved to have stayed longer. The hotel really retains it's original features whilst offering comfort and modern conveniences. The grounds are really beautiful and it was lovely to sit by the willow trees enjoying the sunshine, or walking around the grounds, so peaceful! The room was comfortable and... More
