We are a family with two teenagers travelling trhough England. The guest house is located in an excellent place in Stratford, the price of the room included the breakfast is fantastic. Ambleside is a wonderful B&B, run by a welcoming and helpful couple: Peter and Ruth. It was walking distance to downtown, and 3 blocks from the train station. I stayed in the single bedroom and had to share the bathroom with another lady, but it was no trouble at all, I never bumped into the other person I was sharing... more

I can't really say much more than the headline: this was a lovely B&B, perfectly situated for a stroll around Stratford. Peter and Ruth were great hosts (and great cooks -- their breakfasts saw us through the entire day!), and the spotless rooms provided all the amenities needed for a weekend away. more

My wife and I stayed here overnight and were very pleased with the standards. The room was a pretty standard bed and breakfast but immaculately clean, the proprietress was very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast very good. more
