Stayed with the purpose of seeing a Shakespeare play. Great walk into Stratford along canal. DOES take 20 mins. Not advisable at night- but only £5 for taxi. Very friendly and comfortable stay. Quiet at night. Will return. more

The hotel is a lovely looking building, with lovely surroundings. The rooms are a little old fashioned, compared to the boutique hotels that are around nowadays, but they are warm and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was nice and there was ample tea and coffee in the room. It is a short drive to Stratford and the parking wasn't too expensive. The... more

We stayed there for 2 nights last weekend. The twin room we stayed in was very spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great and the service was superb. We loved the location as this place is very close to park and ride if you want to go into the center of Stratford or if you... more

Great location to visit Stratford-upon-Avon. You park at the B&B and just follow the canal up into the town center. (20 min walk). We had a large rooms (for 4 persons, and we were only with 2) on the top level. It was not luxury, but certainly OK! (not a very comfy bed though) Breakfast and service was all OK!... more

My husband and I spent three nights at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is located next to the canal and is beautifully decorated and lovingly cared for by it's owners. Would highly recommend a stay here as the park and ride is just around the corner which is handy for visiting the town centre. We also walked along... more

This B&B is located about 1 1/2 miles from the center of Stratford but is right on a canal which runs into town and which you can walk next to on a path. It's a great way to get some exercise and experience an older part of England. The innkeepers were marvelous and the accomodations comfortable and well worth the... more

Dreen & Paul are super hosts, they welcome you in to their home & lodge and make your stay very enjoyable! My friend and I spent a long weekend at their wonderful lodge. Enjoying the rooms, breakfasts as well as the little special touches from Dreen advising us on where to visit and the best routes to go by. The... more

A delightful gem nestled amongst the trees. A few minutes drive or easy walking distance to Stratford Upon Avon we found this hotel to be very comfortable and the owners nice & friendly. The decor is a little dated but seems appropriate as we stayed in the room where Queen Victoria slept when she was a Princess. Highly recommended. more

We loved this place: what a gorgeous location, building and owners. The decor-although in the room a little dated-is very homely and shows a lot of history. Didn't even see the front walk along the river until we left and we definitely agreed that we would love to return: much better and more frindly than a hotel and the owners... more
