Although parts of the hotel need sprucing up, other parts are charming. However, it's very hot and it took two trips to the front desk, one phone call and more than 2 hours to get them to provide a fan they insisted was in the room.

Booking a family room for 4 adults was a problem as it allowed us to book with only 2 adults and we were only told that extras were charged for the remaining 2 adults at check out, which was very annoying. The room was OK but the halfboard dinner was way not up to standard for its price. The breakfast... More

We stayed for 2 nights last weekend. The location is second to none, and the free parking a big bonus. There was no wifi in any of the rooms; I had believed there was, so this was an initial major disappointment. The weather was extremely hot, and consequently the hotel interior was the same. This is a 4 star hotel, without... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, initial impression is wow, it's old and it really gets you thinking of the past, we had dinner outside the hotel, but breakfast was good and plenty available. The downside was my room was cold and dated, heating didn't work and it was the new part of the hotel. Great spot all the same.

Cannot fault the amazingly attentive helpful staff on my wedding day. The day was more than perfect the staff made sure everything was as I wanted and more. Beautifully tasty meals the day before the wedding and our wedding breakfast and evening buffet. Staff were very helpful with my grandad who visited the hotel before the wedding to have a... More

We only stayed for a single night but the friendliness of the staff, the facilities and the central position of the this hotel in Stratford make it a must visit. We had a lovely stay from the first minute with a superb cream tea. The room was excellent. The staff even better. The food was a delight and we even... More

I use this hotel a lot, I love the staff and the feel of the place, has a brilliant large car park, is so close to the town you can walk there in 3 minutes - lots of places to eat and all excellent if you don't want to eat in the hotel. Hotel has old world style rooms at... More

We stayed in this hotel as part of a package to attend the recent British Grand Prix. We stayed for four nights, I don't think any of our party had a full nights sleep during this time. The hotel itself looks nice and parts are clearly very historic. We were all given rooms in the more modern addition. This was... More

This was more than a stay in Stratford - staying in Legacy Falcon put us right on centre stage. Excellent room, excellent staff, amazing food. The only reason I dropped a point on this one was (not really the hotels fault) the church clock directly opposite - it chimed every hour on the hour.... all through the night, not too... More

Food hotel with english speaking staff, I make this comment because of most hotels nowadays employ foreign staff which sometimes I find very hard to understand their english, this is purely the hotel's fault because the staff are usually foreign students or cheap labour. The Legacy Falcon we found on a Living Social Mini Break Deal including Dinner, For the... More
