We had a comfortable one night stay at the Legacy Falcon. Our room wasn't quite ready even though it was well past the stated check-in time, but they got it ready within 10 minutes of our arrival. The rooms were fine - very plain but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Parking was free although we were... More

I had the misfortune to visit this quite ghastly hotel for a conference . Arrived at 9.05 hrs and asked where I could get a decent coffee . I was staggered to find that NO "proper" coffee , Espresso , Cafetiere or Cona until 11.00am!!! The level of customer service I received was very probably the worst that I have... More

Avoid this hotel if you have a car and expect to park in the free car park. If there is a conference on all the spaces will be gone. Lunch was marred by there being ample butter on the table but bread rolls only supplied after repeated requests to the waiting staff and after the meal had finished. The free... More

This hotel is a mixture of modern and history. The outside is pure pleasure to see, the inside is modern and functional. The bar is a good place to sit and relax. The hotel is in the centre of town and a 2 minute walk from the RSC splendid centre.

The hotels location is great directly opposite Nash's house and new place however a compromise is had for this - the staff whilst polite lack good customer service - we encountered a problem with our room and found phoning reception a non starter as phone was not answered so this meant 3 trips back to reception to get it fixed... My business partner and I stayed here for one night in a twin room at a cost of £75. We arrived to the hotel at 9.30pm, and there was ample free parking, and we were greeted straight away and booked in quickly at Reception. Went for a curry next door, but we found it bland and costly, so you may... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. Our room was in the more modern part of the hotel above the reception area. Our room was a reasonable size, well equipped to a high standard - even with an iron and ironing board - and was both clean and comfortable. The down side was that we found the walls... More

Stayed for three nights, had room in the old part looking onto the street, very comfortable and not too noisy. Friendly staff and good car parking. Only draw backs was lack of wifi in bedroom, or indeed in the bar, and the price of breakfast, but loads of cafes etc to get cheaper breakfast.

We stayed for one night, hotel staff are all lovely, especially the ladies on reception. We stayed in the old part of the hotel, a very creaky, spooky room on the front which suited us fine. Everything was on a slant as you would expect with an old building with uneven floors and creaky floor boards, quite a novelty!! En-suite... More

We had a 2-night break at the Falcon and enjoyed our stay. The first room we were offered was in the 'historic' part of the hotel [up several flights of narrow stairs; very small, bathroom tiny; bed a small double] so we upgraded to the newer wing - a typical anonymous but warm and comfortable hotel room. It was clean,... More
