A sign of us having slipped into relaxation mode is the reluctance with which we had to tear ourselves away from the Arden after a four-day (three-night) break. As usual we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and the relaxed ambience of the hotel. On this occasion we were billeted at the very top of the building above the reception... More

Family went for birthday tea party. Wonderful afternoon tea. Gorgeous surroundings and fabulous sandwiches and cakes. Everything was lovely to look at and delightful to eat. Waitress was very good at her job, well trained, polite and smiley, could not have been better. Thank you,

This is a very good hotel, with its best features being its location, the availability of on-site parking and their desire to please. Our room had air conditioning, central heating and they really had paid attention to the preferences we expressed on the form they send upon booking. We ate dinner one night in the restaurant and the food was... More

We stayed at the Arden on a Sunday night. The welcome from the reception was good who then chaperoned us to our room. We ate in the restaurant and again the staff were very attentive and helpful and the food was good value although drinks are a bit expensive. Great breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel which is also in a... More

My wife and I stayed at The Arden for 2 nights for an anniversary break. The location is excellent, directly opposite the RSC and a 1 minute walk to the river Avon. Upon arrival we discovered that the Hotel had upgraded us to a Master room at the front of the hotel and there was a bottle of Champagne waiting... More

We stayed for three nights and saw Henry IV parts 1 and 2 in successive nights. The hotel was exceptionally well located for the theatre which was just across the road. The staff were excellent and our room very pleasant with great air conditioning which was really needed. We had one evening meal and breakfasts outside on a large terrace... More

I chose this hotel for a single night stay as part of the celebration of my daughter's graduation. It is a rather confused walking entrance from The Waterside, if you follow the road route all around the block to the car park then it is much easier. The rooms were excellent with very comfortable beds and breakfast was efficient although... More

Great location near river, RSC theatre and few minutes walk to shopping area. Stayed just one night but will definitely return. Very elegant rooms with high quality fixtures and fittings. Very attentive staff and lots of lovely touches such as fresh fruit in room, welcome card and turn-down service. Had dinner on terrace as part of Sunday stay offer; good... More

We stayed at the Arden for four nights last week as we were seeing some plays at the RSC which is just over the road. The hotel is very disability friendly as my wife uses a wheelchair. The staff were focussed on our well being. There are ramps, wide doorways and a wheelchair lift to the restaurant and bar. Nothing... More
