I stayed at the hotel in July 2014 with my parents in a family room/large king size room. The room was called the 'apple' room as all rooms were named after trees. It was a very large room with 2 separate areas for the beds. My parents had an enormous bed, with beautiful linens and I was on the pull... More

I booked this hotel for a surprise overnight stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The room was excellent, very clean, spacious and comfortable with a very large bathroom. The room and bathroom had all the small touches that are often overlooked. A birthday card and small box of chocolates awaited my husband, courtesy of... More

Having read a few unfavourable reviews for both the hotel & it's restaurant, & given the price per room, I hoped this hotel would deliver - but deliver it did! Not sure when those bad reviewers stayed, but I couldn't fault it. From the super-quiet aircon to the leaf tea at breakfast, everything was top class with super attention to... More

My wife and I stayed one night at the Arden Hotel in Stratford Upon Avon a couple of weeks back. We were attending a wedding just outside the town. This was my first time to Stratford and in fairness I didn’t know what to expect – the town blew me away with its beauty and character. We were lucky to... More

Fantastic location, amazing room, lovely bed, pillows linen etc; nice food in the restaurant and a great breakfast. Highly, highly recommended. Would make a great weekend break I would think, though we took advantage of an incredible value Sunday night + dinner offer

We have just spent two nights at the Arden and very much enjoyed our stay. We opted for a superior room and we were impressed by the size, comfort, and the very good bathroom. We had lunch twice on the Terrace and enjoyed the sunshine and good food. The car park is very convenient and the position opposite the Theatre... More

Beautifully decorated hotel in a great location. Rooms have all mod cons. Restaurant service OK, but reception desk staff were rather cold and aloof. Fixed price dinner menu was excellent value. Ask for a room at the front with views of the river and RSC. Strangely, these rooms seem to be cheaper because they don't have a bathtub. My friend's... More

I totally agree with the previous review, this hotel is beautifully furnished, has lovely rooms and is in a fantastic location but is let down by the service at breakfast and dinner. The food was ok but not exceptional for the price you pay to stay there - 285.00 per room per night including a cooked breakfast. Breakfast was served... More

The hotel was pretty good. We had a good room overlooking the river and the theatre. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning didn't work. The service was average given the expense of the hotel. The breakfast was good but again let down by service. So although I have reviewed as average this is largely because it is not as... More
