Requested very early access to car parking (after 2-hour drive), as we were only staying one night and wanted to make a full day of it. Arrived 8:30am to warm welcome and no problem with parking. Situated about 5mins walk from the outskirts of the town centre (about 10mins to Shakespeare's bithplace; about 20mins to Anne Hathaway's cottage). Room was... More

We enjoyed our one night stay at Ashgrove House. Iain and Diane are very helpful. Our room was clean and spacious and the beds very comfortable. All the little extras such as bottled water and sweets were much appreciated. Breakfast was very good, my son said his fried egg was perfect! The property is in a good location, very close... More

We very much enjoyed staying here for the weekend. It is very handy for the sights of Stratford. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the theatre. Our room was a good size and had all that we wanted including bottles of water and sachets to make hot chocolate. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was... More

I found myself staying here and had an amazing 3 nights. Room spotless, breakfast was lovely. Owners were lovely and wifi worked brilliantly. Shared bathroom, but not a problem at all. Parking at the back - plenty of room for all.

Just returned from 2 night stay at Ashgrove House. Chose this following previous reviews and were not disappointed. Stayed with my 2 female friends in their triple room. Very comfortable, clean and roomy for 3 adults - had en-suite. Room had all the essentials, tea/coffee making facilities plus little extras - bottled water, biscuits, chocolate mints. Had hair dryer and... More

Perfectly fine B&B in Stratford, conveniently close to the Shakespeare theatre. Owners were very friendly. Parking is provided just down the road. Wifi worked fine. Breakfast was traditional English (in addition to a small selection of cereals), not bad but also nothing special. Would love to give it more stars but the room was tiny, compared to other English B&Bs... More

The host could not have been friendlier or more helpful. As we were first in and they were not busy we had a choice of rooms. It was fantastic size with a double bed and a single. Great location as was only 5 minute walk from main "centre" and also had parking which is hard to find.

We stayed 2 nights. We were in town to see Henry IV part one. The Ashgrove is within easy reach of the train station and the town centre. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Room small/ a bit poky, but clean and comfortable. A good place to stay, overall.

Had a very comfortable 2 night stay at Ashgrove House. Room was large, well furnished, very clean and great value for money. Ian and Diane are perfect hosts happy to point out places of interest in the town and have a general chat over breakfast. As for breakfast, it was substantial and freshly cooked - lovely. The property is close... More

We enjoyed a comfortable stay at the Ashgrove. We arrived early however Iain and Diane were more than happy to let us check in and were very helpful in showing us where the tourist attractions were and where eat. The Ashgrove is very close to the city centre. Breakfast was very filling and even had my favourite yoghurt (Yeo Valley)!
