Staff very friendly. Double room set up not very couple friendly. Small Double bed against the wall. Weddings take priority so evening meals were taken in Bar. This was not a problem for us but we had to wait one evening for over an hour after ordering. In the morning we booked the meal for a set time, so would... more

Stayed here for 1 night in March 2009 as we were at nearby 6th gear experince. The bedrooms are in a seperate building from the old country house, but thats ok as the leisure centre is in the same building. Pool was a pleasant temperature as was the sauna. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean, and quite cosy. Good shower in... more

From making the booking by telephone to leaving, we had excellent service from all the staff we dealt with. We booked a family package by telephone as we had teenagers not under 12's. The staff arranged tickets for us as part of the package and even spoke to us before hand to advise us of events at Warwick Castle. On... more

I recently spent a night at Woodside as part of a wine-tasting event. The main house is a magnificant old building set within splendid grounds however the bedrooms are situated in a annex which detaches slightly from the experience. The main hotel offers excellent facilities inlcuding free access to a selection of drinks, fruit and cakes to support you through... more

We choose this hotel for its location and its price. The hotel is situated about 5min drive away from the town centre and the taxi cost just under £8.00. The rooms, as others have also reviewed, are in a seperate block, the room was very clean and so was the bathroom. We used the swimming pool and the sauna which... more

Nice hotel. Fantastic location. Grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. The room we stayed in was in an accomodation block which is seperate from the main hotel. The rooms were extremely small and the double bed pushed up against the bedroom walls, which were extremely thin. Could easily hear the people talking next door and people walking down the hall... more

Beautiful garden lovely trees, squirrells and rabbits. Nice carpark, well lit. The reception was well kept the staff very friendly, told us where everything was and the... more

I have just stayed at Woodside with my 18 year old son and felt that I had to share my experience with people who may be thinking of staying here. First and foremost Woodside is a conference centre and when you pull up you are directed to the "Delegates" parking area. The room was basic but clean and set up for... more

We have only good things to say about this hotel. We stayed for just one night after visiting the NEC. The room and bathroom were very good and all facilities were just as advertised. The bed was huge and the bedroom plenty big enough. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Free wifi was a great extra. more

Having seen some of the reviews I chose this for our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately before leaving we had a message to say they only had the very smallest rooms (slightly smaller than a double). I called them a few times and in the end they did manage to get me something much better. We arrived and the picture on the... more
