This is a rather compact little hotel which is attached to it's main function of a public house and restaurant. The hotel itself was very clean and presentable and the breakfast was more than adequate and well presented. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay we would have no hesitatation in returning to... More

20 of us had booked an early Christmas lunch. We arrived as another group of 50 people were sitting down. Our private room was ideal, there was no indication that the kitchen must have been under pressure. Our food was piping hot, well cooked and very tasty. The waitresses were calm and pleasant, dealing with any requests promptly. Great value... More

I didn't stay here but have been for Sunday dinner and left most of it. Tasted like boil in the bag beef and re heated frozen food. Service not with a smile and very unhelpful. Dirty high chair and different types of frozen food on one plate! .

I stayed in The Cottage Inn to attend a conference at Warwick University. The staff were attentive, the room was clean, well-equipped with all the basics and was lovely and quiet at night (Friday). I even managed to get my evening meal brought to my room as I was doing some work - fantastic service! Very comfy bed and great... More

I can't believe people put this place down - what do they expect for £25/person (a butler and a maid!!!!). Yes the rooms are small and in need of an update but they are clean and have all that you need. The meals in the evening that you can purchase are great and the paid for breakfast is good. The... The Cottage Inn is a traditional back street pub with rooms and as a place to stay with good access to Kenilworth itself and a short drive from Warwick is great value. The rooms are small and basic as you'd expect at the price they charge, but they are clean and have everything you need. Breakfast is good and freshly... More

We've eaten here regularly for years, and for value for money, good food and a pleasant atmosphere this is a really good choice for a meal. The food is excellent quality, good value, well presented and served with a smile. It doesn't pretend to be a fancy restaurant, but serves excellent pub food! Our last visit was for Easter Sunday... I would say that this B&B is below average but to categorise it as poor would be a bit harsh. Everything in my room worked and it was clean, no nasty smells but just very shabby and in very desperate need of a complete renovation. It probably hasn't been touched since the '80s! I had dinner and breakfast there and... More
