I booked an afternoon tea for 4 people using a Groupon deal. we turned up on time to be told we had not booked and they were busy. We were told to sit in reception, waited 25 minutes collected by waiter to go through for afternoon tea-no explanation or apology. Served a glass of sparkling wine and abandoned for 30... More

There was almost 30 of us staying here, some for two nights, and here is just my experience. (If I were to tell you about everyone's experience we would be here for days.) -broken light bulbs in my room: had to wait until my second day, after I had asked TWICE for them to be fixed. Not good enough. -asked... More

I thought Ramada hotels were of reasonably quality - if this is typical of their standards then I will be avoiding them in future- why? The hotel seems very dated and tired. Definitely in need of redecoration/refurbishment. The whole place is lacking any atmosphere at all. Seems to have an Indian theme - but this is incongruous on the banks... More

The hotel has quite an unpersonal feel. The staff were fine and polite but didn't really go out of their way to do anymore. The bed was very comfortable but the bedrooms were tired and in need of maintenance. The food was OK , found a hair in the breakfast. Generally, it was just OK.

We had a room upstairs on the second floor; the room was well maintained with a modern bathroom that had a bath as well as a... More

He the nshowed us to our table and gave... More

We were given a one night stay, with dinner and B & B as a 50th birthday present. When I called to book, I was aiming for the 13th Feb, and was helpfully to,d that yes they had a room, but there was a function on that would make it possibly roudy, and we might be better on another evening.... Arriving for a valentine treat ,we were given a room which was interconnecting number 232 ,so we could hear every sound from the door in our room which lead to the room next door ie the snoring and conversation as if they were next to me in our bed.. the residents lounge bar was not open even though the hotel...
