This is the second time I have stayed here in the last 4 months and I can highly recommend it. For budget accommodation it is good value for money as the rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious and on both occasions it was very quiet. Buffet breakfast is plentiful and the staff very helpful. Being just off the A1 it is... more

We stayed just for one night, but it had everything we needed, and at £59 for the room including breakfast for two, it was ideal. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for reasonably-priced, clean, comfortable motel-style accommodation. more

We used this hotel as a base for visiting relatives in the area and thought it very good value for money when booked under their "3 nights for the price of 2" offer. The room was clean, modern and quite spacious with a comfortable bed. TV has main channels and number of Sky sports and news channels. Tea and coffee... more

We booked this accommodation for 4 people over the Easter weekend. The rooms were bright, clean and comfortable with a spotless bathroom and a good shower. As a budget hotel its first class, in fact some 4* properties we have stayed in have not represented such good value for money! The only minor gripe I had was that our room... more

We were staying at this hotel to attend an event in newcastle, which was then cancelled but decided to go anyway as it was such a good price. When we arrived early we thought we'd have lunch then check in but found our room was ready 2 hours early so they let us check in then, Great service! we went over... more

I recently spent two nights here and can't recommend it highly enough. I pre-booked online which meant a minimum of fuss at check-in, only needed to sign for my key and pick up my receipt. The hotel feels secure, requiring a key card to get into the foyer, and the foyer itself is clean, bright and tidy as are the... more

I agree with most of what previous reviewers have said. Good accommodation, excellent food, convenient location and really friendly staff. Top marks, very high standards at a realistic price. Innkeepers Lodge is always my preferred budget hotel choice. more

Falcon's Nest is a "Vintage Inn", which appears to be a chain of pub/restaurant franchises. They offer good pub food at competitive prices prices. It also operates under the Innkeepers Lodge banner providing en-suite rooms. There are a number of other pub/restaurant franchises which also operate as Innkeepers Lodges. Sounds confusing but if you check out the Inkeepers Lodge website... more

We stayed at the Falcons Nest on the recommendation of a relative. We booked through the innkeepers lodge website, and booked in advance, which meant that the room cost less than £30 (which includes a continental breakfast). The Falcons Nest is a Vintage Inn, and serves food you would except from a decent Pub/Inn, at very reasonable prices. The food... more

my husband and 3 kids stayed for the weekend, this is by no means a luxury break, but a comfortable, friendly, clean base for a few days away. 2 mins from the A1, 10 mins from the coast and the city!! ideal place to stay if your older or with kids as newcastle city centre quite busy. rooms are spotless,... more
