Stayed at the house last month for a weekend get away, attended the Jazz Supper which was without doubt the best of its kind i've sampled in the northeast, I would definatly recommend this venue for events such as the Jazz super which the Handsome Manager tells me is usually held on the last friday of every month, I wish... more

My partner, mum and I decided to go to Jesmond Dene House for dinner after friends told us how good it was. Upon arrival, we knew we were in for a treat. The concierge greeted us and took us through to the bar area. It was a Thursday night so there were only another 6-8 tables being used. The staff... more

Being long-standing devotees of 21 Queen Street, Cafe 21 etc my husband and I eagerly anticipated a stay at Jesmond Dene House to celebrate my birthday. The booking process was great - I phoned and explained our room requirements (deluxe double, big bed, good view), which were dealt with in a friendly & efficient manner, and I got a prompt... more

Having had some delicious meals in the restaurant we decided to hold our daughters wedding reception at JDH. What a wonderful day! The attention to detail by the staff made the event - and breakfast the next morning was a feast in itself more

Read that the hotel was highly rated, but in reality thought it had some way to go !! First room was small, and had a fire door in the corridor outside ,which closed with a loud bang every time it was used.Reception changed rooms for us without a problem, had a larger room but the lighting in this hotel is terrible !!! Rooms... more

Jesmond Dene House has the best staff, accommodation and food of any hotel in the North of England. If you do stay you MUST have dinner. Some of the most exquisite food you will ever experience. Each room is unique so we’ve made it a goal to stay in every one in the years to come! Brilliant! more

We really enjoyed out stay at Jesmond Dene House, but unfortunately it was only for one night - a longer stay would have been lovely. We had a twin room overlooking the gardens. It was very nice and well equipped. There was a good selection on the breakfast menu, but having been out to our work party the evening before,... more

The hotel is set in jesmond dene with fantastic garden and surroundings and once inside the decor does not disapoint. We sat in the lounge area and had drinks before... more

from the moment we were greated, to the moment we left, my wife and i, along with our 19month daughter, had a throughly enjoyable stay at JDH. all the staff right through the 'ranks' were helpful, attentive, and just plainly 'pleasant'. we stayed in the noble suite, which was ideal with a small infant, enough space to relax, and even dine... more

Stayed for one night on 31st Oct, chose the Jazz supper package. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Jesmond Dene House. Nice food and music was very good. There were a couple of tables still available on the night which I found hard to believe as it is such a good deal. Room was clean but quite small... more
