We've never stayed in a hostel before so we didn't know what I expect. (We were on a hen do) we paid £30 deposit each For the room which then you bet back if the room is all good when checking out) Firstly the lift was broke and then finding out we were on the too floor was a real... More

Honestly it was our first time In a hostel and we not really sure what to expect. The location is pretty good. Minutes form great shops. The room was OK. The sheets were clean as were the towels. There Is no no air conditioning but we did not expect any. The front desk gentleman was very good to to us... More

True it's a hostel and yes, maybe one should not expect anything great but with a four star rating it should sure be better than it actually is! Dirty floors, teenagers throwing (at least they threw up in the trash can but placed it in the hotel floor) and very unfriendly staff! Mgmt should sure remind their staff of what... More

Cost us £315 for 2 nights , there was 5 of us staying in one room , there was only 2 plug sockets between 5 people, we had to buy extensions from poundland for the plugs. There was punch marks in the bathroom door that had been filled but not painted looked scruffy . There was white stains on the... More

Six girls stayed for a hen weekend. Each time we rang prior to arrival the staff couldn't find our booking. Room was tight but standard for a hostel. Bathroom was tiny and no ventilation. Shower was on top of toilet. It was ridiculous. Not really suitable for several girls sharing. Staff were nice young and helpful though. The bar had... More

Stayed here for one night with a friend. Booked it last minute but got en suite twin room for £45. 24 hour secure NCP car park just round corner. Costs £11 for 24 hours parking. Few mins walk from pubs/clubs/shops etc. Hotel has a pub which is an ideal starting point or meeting point if there is a large crowd... More

I stayed here for one night as I couldn't find anywhere else to stay at short notice. The room smelt very musty and sweaty even with the window left open all night. Breakfast was plentiful but as I was the only one eating an hour after breakfast had started the items on the hot breakfast buffet were dried out.

We was meant to stay in a 8 bed room but because they had a room with four bed they put us in there so we didn't have to share with no extra cost. Location was so close we didn't have to get any taxis. Staff where young and new where the hot places where to go. They even had... More

Stayed in a private room with 4 bunk beds on Saturday 24th May for one night. One bed had a pee stain on the mattress the rest were fine. The carpet is brown and a but grubby looking. There is one toilet and one toilet/ wet room with a shower. The bathrooms were a bit grubby, considering they got paid... More
