I organised a residential training course & the participants were based at The Euro Hostel Newcastle. The staff are very welcoming & helpful. The accommodation is very good for the price - beds comfortable & rooms clean. Everybody enjoyed their stay & I would certainly book in again

Good location, close to center and train. Main area, room and bathroom were clean. Bed good, fresh air in the room. They charge 2,5£ for booking on their own webpage. The wifi was a joke, the only anwser was: pay 3£, and get faster wifi - I went to Starbucks instead, there you also get coffee. Breakfast for 4£ was... More

Visited EuroHostel Newcastle at the start of June for a girls reunion and for atmospheric and location reasons I'm glad I picked it. Check in was quick and easy, we arrived early but soon burned some time over wines in the bar that is attatched to the Hostel. We stayed in a Private 4 room which was short on space... More

Excellent venue for stag or hen parties. Rooms very basic. 4 adults in a room in bunk beds with only enough room to hang clothes for 2. Rooms very clean. Hostel centrally located so good for pubs and clubs. Bar area excellent but very noisy. Breakfast £4 if booked the night before. None of us were impressed with breakfast. Basic... More

What a great little hostel, 1 minute walk to the city centre, So obviously a cracking location. This hostel welcomes large groups, we went with 45 lads. The rooms where clean, a little bit beaten up, but that's not a problem, clean sheets, clean shower. The downstairs bar, was absolutely amazing, great value for money. drinks offers. Friendly staff, the... More

I wouldn't recommend it. It's clean and functional but a little grim. The 'free WiFi' is so slow that the upgrade (£3) is necessary even for normal browsing. There was continuous noise from a neighbouring room and the hallway through out the night with no staff intervention. Also there was a charge for left luggage. In hindsight it was not... More

I stayed here for two nights. I have stayed in better and probably won't stay here again for a few minor reasons. 1. There is two wifi choices, to pay or not to pay, I didn't pay and the service was terrible, although I had 3wifi bars I couldn't do anything on it. My phone service was also unavailable when... The hostel is actually very nice, clean, basic and good value for money! My party were placed in a private room (we had paid for private) in a corridor of around 20 school children. Who at 6am enjoyed playing bang on the wall games, this followed by the whole group sat outside our room waiting to be told where they... More

Stayed in the hostel for two nights because of a gig and whilst the bed was slightly hard, I did manage to get a decent nights sleep; I was slightly alarmed at the lack of lockers in the room. I was later told that because I was only sharing with four people in a small room, lockers are not provided.... More
