A 7a.m. flight from Newcastle to Malaga was the reason for me staying at this hotel. It is ideally situated for this, being very close to the main entrance to Newcastle Airport, with one of the independent long-stay car parks adjacent to the hotel site. If you are using an airport car park, it takes just a few minutes to... more
Having been badly let down by another airport hotel we stayed at the premier Inn. As airport hotels go this is very good. We were welcomed in a genuinely warm and friendly way. The hotel is fairly new and what we saw was all very clean. The beds were very comfy and we were able to use a family room... more
Premier Inn is a fantastic place to stay if you are to fly to/from Newcastle Airport. It location is literally 2minutes walking from the terminal exit. Location is the best part of this hotel. On the insides it is very clean, cosy and silent(considering the location). The room has everything that you can ask for and the toilet was very... more
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. I don't know who the lady was but she was really helpful and freindly at the breakfast resturant and she is a ral asset to the hotel. The transport links where good as well. Get the Metro outside the airport and you will be in... more
As everyone else has said, the hotel is very conveniently situated for the airport (but then again, you'd expect nothing less from an airport hotel!). Check-in was easy and the receptionist very friendly. We booked the "all you can eat" breakfast but didn't eat an evening meal at the hotel. We chose, instead, to walk the 5 minutes to the... more
Stayed at the premier inn - newcastle airport as I had an early flight to catch the next morning. I booked in advance on the hotel website and got a rate of £57.00 for a double room. The hotel is just 2 mins from the airport which is probably the main selling point. The interior is very basic but clean... more
We stayed here on 15 August 2008 as we had an early flight the following day. The hotel was OK and the room was fine but the food in the restaurant was absolutely dreadful. I ordered a burger and it stank to high heaven. It was absolutely inedible. When I complained the waitress offered to deduct 25% off the price... more
Newcastle Airport's Premier Inn is a 5min walk from the terminal, opposite the building works for the new Airport Hotel. The staff were excellent and informative - attached to the hotel is a pub/restaurant, internet machines are here too (payable unfortunately). Rooms are over 3 floors and mine was on the top, a little stuffy, but the hotel provided large... more
Stayed overnight prior to an early flight. The hotel is very handy, i.e. about a 3 minute walk, for the airport. The room was OK but was starting to show it's age a bit. There were some oil-like stains on the bathroom floor, the walls had seen a few bumps and there were 2 fingernail clippings on the bedside cabinet... more
