Generally an excellent spot in the Quayside (under the Tyne Bridge) in Newcastle. Easy access to the city with everything just around the corner. Rooms- Typical Premier Inn rooms that have all you need for your stay. Breakfast- One of the better Premier breakfasts we have had. A good start to the day! A good all round basic hotel with... more

I was in a party of 6 - cheapest transport for us all to the hotel was a large taxi/minibus - from the airport £15 and to the airport £13. Describe the hotel to driver as the Premier Inn Quayside, under the fly over. Hotel staff really friendly and helpful. Adequate clean rooms -our room was on the second floor... more

We had booked the Marriot Metro Centre at first, but were recommended this hotel by a family member. I was a bit reluctant at first after reading reviews regarding the noise of traffic and pigeons that lived under the Tyne bridge. We found the hotel hard to find with our Tom Tom, so we called the hotel and were given... more

Arrival / Parking We parked for GBP£20 per night in the hotel's underground garage - this needs to be pre-booked as there are only a few spaces, but it is clean and seems safe enough (the staff have to let you in so you do have to either call or pop in when you want to park). Entrance to the... more

A budget room in a great location, with an excellent bar. Only problem was with the layout which was rather dis orientating and the need to for aditional signage in this hotel was redily apparent. Big massive bed and excellent location, a good value, clean hotel which I would visit again. more

We got off to a bad start because the taxi from the railway station took us to the wrong Premier Inn, even though we had specifically asked for Premier Inn Quayside. If you're going to Premier Inn Quayside, you should find yourself under the big green bridge next to the river - anywhere else is the wrong Premier Inn! Apparently,... more

4 of us stayed at the Premier Inn (Quayside) for 2 nights at Easter. I booked this hotel based on reviews on Trip Advisor, and I agree with them - location is excellent, rooms are ok, hotel is a bit tired & dated, but value for money is excellent, considering the Hilton is literally just across the river and is... more

Spending a fair bit of time in Newcastle on business. This hotel has good sized rooms with fast wifi and modern facilities. Breakfasts are good and evening food is surprisingly reasonable. The hotel is well located for offices on the Quayside, bars & restaurants, and many tourist attractions such as the Baltic. The staff are helpful too. more
