comfortable bed as advertised. Clean no frills accomodation. Central location. Location can be noisy as popular with Hen and Stag parties as well as usual weekend clubbers. Would be better if free wifi offered for longer duration than current 30 minutes.

My room was very comfortable. The beds really are as good as in the Lenny Henry adverts. The hotel is handy for central Newcastle and on the Q1 bus route to the central station. Plenty of reasonably priced eateries in the area.

Just a typical premier inn hotel I suppose, the prices aren't great for what you get. Small room, 30 minutes of wifi and a tiny tv which is hard to use. The service was quite good, and the restaurant seemed nice - though I never used it. For a cheap night - travel lodge For a 'Premier night' - something... More

I feel this hotel is not up to the usual standard of Premier Inns I have been in before. The location is good down on the quays but a hilly walk into the main city. The reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. There is no security to stop anyone going to the rooms. By this I mean usually you... More

Really central location and easy to walk around town from this quayside base. Unfortunately on the days I stayed there it was very wet and I couldn't enjoy the lovely location as well as I could have, but on a nice day I think that would come into its own. The hotel staff were friendly at check in and helpful... More

central hotel close to the station but parking is very limited. Rooms are a bit dull and ask for a river view, I got a wall view. Usual Premier Inn but the staff here are great. All very friendly and helpful mate dining a pleasure.

The hotel is a listed building on the Quayside. We had arrived by train & it was a reasonably short walk, even for myself, a senior citizen. The room was large & comfortable with a lovely view of the Tyne bridge & river Tyne. Everything was spotlessly clean & the beds were comfortable. There was a hospitality tray in the... More

The hotel is close to the river. It is an old hotel, but well maintained. The was large, but with old furniture. The bed is nice, as in the others Premier Inn, and with no noise. The room and the bathroom were cleaned every day. The restaurant is small, but with a good service and a great view. The English... More

Excellent place to stay. Staff fantastic - couldn't have been more helpful, food excellent for breakfast and the evening meal in the Thyme restaurant in the hotel. Everything explained to us about the hotel and comforts
