Booking through booking.com, for a one night stay. Got allocated a larger fully accesible room on 4th floor. Weather was warm , aircon would not budge below 26 degrees. Very noisy with traffic. Room keys woiuld not work, had to get them changed twice. Has accessible bathroom with handles and seat in shower. Had a shower, got changed, went out.... more

Stayed here a couple of times recently while on business. Rooms are perfectly reasonable - modern and clean. Good location if you need to be near train station as it's only a 2 min walk away. Buffett breakfast is ok as well - no complaints. Avoid rooms facing onto the road - this can be noisy due to traffic (emergency... more

We stayed here for 3 nights in April. The price was 59 pounds a nyt including the breakfast. Overall a perfect stay. I enjoyed the light breakfast. The location was perfect it was right in the middle of the centre 200 metres from the train station but it was quiet as it was in an inner street. Both check in... more

Hotel was in a really good location, very close to train station and a short walk to all other sights. Reception and bar area were very new and well kept and staff were very helpful in providing information. Room was nice, great shower! The free buffet breakfast was an added bonus! Would stay again and recommend to anyone. more

Slightly small rooms compared to other Newcastle hotels but comfortable. Continental breakfast is OK. Downside is staff are not as good as other Newcastle hotels (regular business traveller to the city at the moment), Could not get broadband working in room once because staff had not released account. Also they do not provide newspapers to rooms which other hotels in... more

We had read the reivews and when booking we requested a top floor room not overlooking the street. We has also checked the loaction from the Central train station etc. When we arrived in Newcastle central station we walked for about 2 minutes and Volia we were there, bit hidden as the sign is blocked by another building. We arrived... more

This hotel is reasonably central. About 5 minsutes walk from Central station which itself is 25 minutes away from the airport by metro. Its about a 10 minute walk to central city, plenty of bar and pubs in the locality. Small selection of gay pubs / bars are very close to this hotel plus a gay nightclub (Powerhouse, which is... more
