I have visited The Plough a few times for lunch and have not had any complaints. The place itself is lovely having been totally refurbished and it's well worth going out of your way for. The food is great and very nicely presented, my only suggestion would be maybe a 2/3 course set price lunch as many other places I... More

I realise my review is belated however we had such a fantastic time We still wanted to right a review. We are regulars at the plough and booked for Christmas. We know the staff and the food are exceptional however they went the extra mile on Christmas Day. Everything from booking to pre ordering was a smooth and easy process.... More

Top class refurbishment and beautifully presented Food excellent BUT where was the fire on a cold Febuary Saturday evening??? That was only thing that let it down. If you have a lovely fire and advertise your establishment as having fire PUT IT ON!! Saying that will be back

We visited for lunch on a cold windy February lunchtime and found the place buzzing! Fortunately there was a table free and we pondered the extensive menu. Our prawn cocktail starters were tasty and plentiful and our main courses were excellent in every way. The smart surroundings help give a good feel to the establishment and the staff are polite.... Went here for lunch yesterday, beautifully decorated and appointed, with sofas and chairs at well spaced out tables so that diners can enjoy a conversation without having to listen to what is happening at the next table. Good menu selection which is not expensive. Three of us opted for fish and chips and and the fourth for chicken kiev. Fish... More

Just back home from a lovely Sunday lunch for my sons birthday. Your service and food were top notch . But I think what puts the Plough above the other pubs in the surrounding area is the ambiance. It's so lovely and relaxing, I don't know what they have done but it's just got a lovely vibe and ideal for... More

Returned for lunch this week, after having enjoyed an evening meal there a couple of months ago. The décor of the restaurant is superb & is matched by the quality of the food & service. The meals are well presented & give good value. We will certainly return again.

We booked the Plough for a retirement party. The facilities are beautiful. The plough is tastefully decorated, the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The room upstairs is perfect for parties of about 50 people. We ordered a set meal which went down very well. The food was of a very high standard and beautifully presented. Despite having a lot...
