this travelodge is not in newcastle but in gateshead its on the outskirtsof gateshead about 5 miles from newcastle,it has one pub nearby which is called the greens which is allright,,it is more near sunderland than newcastle,so travel wise here is by bus or taxi,but place is allright.so if you want to stay in newcastle this is not the place more

A group of us stayed here for one night. Great cheap hotel that is out of the city but perfect still. A taxi to newcastle from the hotel is £12. Taxi's are easy to book and recep very helpful. The hotel had some noise but not bad at all (we stayed on sat night), we all managed to sleep fine.... more
