Just had a wonderful overnight stay while on tour of the British Isles. Needed a light bulb change after maintenance had left for the night. Marcus, the manager on duty, came and changed it out. He did it with curtesy and humor. This was typical of all the staff we encountered. The hotel was very comfortable. The restaurant served delicious... More

Arrived at start of first stay not to be informed of breakfast details or anything else by reception. Bar staff not very welcoming. Positive was room was pretty good. Second trip almost straight after tried the restaurant. First night was average, good friendly service but food was a little bland. Second night waited an eternity for a burger and eventually... The hotel is loacted near the pink triangle of the city and close to some good bars and great night life. The roomsa are spacious and large with a good sleep quality, though the room service options are limited and very expensive, also on a food bill of 80 pounds it seems absurd to charge a tray charge of 5... We stayed for three nights and although the hotel was really busy, we did not experience any late night noise as stated in previous reviews. Our room was lovely, the bed comfy and lovely and clean. The check in was seamless as was the check out. All the hotel staff we met were fantastic from the moment we arrived. The... More

Here for 4 days for a convention at Telewest Arena, can honestly say it was a great place to stay and will do the same next year if possible. Lots of hen parties etc but the staff had placed the convention delegates on the same floor therefore we weren't disturbed that is considerate booking.

On arrival I felt the man on check in was looking down his nose at us especially when he rolled his eyes mentioning we'd booked on late rooms. Com. Our room was very dusty especially in the bathroom and the shower curtain although looked clean smelt awful. There was also a sticker of a cartoon penis on the wall of... More

Used the hotel for my daughters visit parking adjacent to the hotel and everything within walking distance. Can be a lively hotel but stayed till Thursday so missed the stag and hen parties. Provided an excellent breakfast that was included in the price

After staying at many hotels I've never experienced anything like my stay at the Jury's Inn Newcastle, walking into my bedroom alone at 1am with all my belongings laid out in the room to find a strange man lying in my bed, the shock of him managing to get into the room was bad enough let alone to find I... The advantages to this hotel are: near the Life Centre, railway station & a very short walk from Granger Town car park (which is £4 overnight). The disadvantages include no air conditioning in bedrooms, the number of stag and hen do's and a mixture of nice and officious staff. If you're a light sleeper or prefer quietness make sure you...
