If my company book me into this hotel again i will take a sleeping bag and sleep in the van !!!!!!
Stayed here on business in early December 2011, chose the location as it was close to my meeting.
Where to start.............?
This is a small hotel and, to be honest, is getting a bit run down. Reception was good and the lady very friendly and helpful. Room was £49 for just myself in a double room which, at first glance...

Having read the reviews i was a little concerned with what awaited us at hadrian lodge. It was one of the cheapest on suite rooms in the area.We travelled from Leeds and found the hotel with ease being so close to the tyne tunnel.Parked the car in the large free car park and made our way in.From arrival to departure we...

We booked Hadrian's Lodge as a group of friends and then checked reviews on trip advisor. After reading we were quite concerned about the accommodation we were staying in. For myself and on behalf of the rest of the group we had a good stay. May not have the best decor but Clean, Warm Rooms, Hot powerful showers. Friendly helpful...

The woman on Saturday evenin on the other hand was very sour faced, and felt she took a instant dislike to my friend ... And everything was an effort for her... But the night porter was ace!! Think the menu...

You get what you pay for, I wouldn’t be going there on romantic weekend there but it was fine for one night stay while working in the area. The room looked tired as did the rest of the hotel but the staff where helpful and happy. It’s situated across from a Metro stop so handy for travelling into Newcastle but...

Stayed for two nights while visiting the area, primarily to attend a local funeral. The Lodge is attractively priced for the area, The room was adequate without being in the business travellers class, The bar and restaurant were good, and fairly priced. I will stay again if I'm in the area.
Very nice staff nice hotel! Metro station is only across the road! ****
We booked bed and breakfast but on arrival we were informed that the breakfast is only cereals and toast unless you pay and additional cost for full English. The whole place is dated and in need of a revamp, some of the bedrooms have a very odd smell. The food was reasonably priced and OK but the menu was as...

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. As a member of the armed forces i can honestly say that our condemmed blocks are in better condition than this hotel.
The towels were not only dirty but wet when we arrived. The bed sheets smelt musty and the mould was unbelieveable.
It was like going back...
