just spent an overnight at the village hotel for a hen night & would thoroughly recommend it. the hotel reception and bar area is nicely decorated and the staff were very friendly. the rooms were clean and spacious and had everything we required for our stay. the pool area was great with steam room, sauna and a couple of jacuzzis.... more

Overall, this is a pretty good hotel, although accessible only with your own transport. Nothing to uneventful ,though in my room, there was no hotel guide or notes, which meant no details on how to access the wifi etc. etc. I'm guessing this was just forgotten about by the cleaning staff earlier in the day. The reception staff were very good. The food also was ok - especially for the price. The rooms were better than average and quite spacious. I stayed at this hotel in Sept 2008 for a business trip. It is a great hotel with some exceptions. The Pros: Pub on site - good food and beer!
