The hotel offers everything one would expect plus more. Complimentary toiletries are by Aveda, complimentary robes, decent yes decent hair dryer, trouser press, free mini bar all come as standard. The hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly. The hotel is also very conveniently located. The hotel restaurant is a Michelin starred chef Marco Pierre White restaurant and... More

A short walk from the station and in a quiet side street. A 10 min walk to St James Park and near lots of eateries. Good sized room and well appointed. Overall the food was good although breakfast a bit disappointing.

Stayed at the Hotel for the first time on Thursday, 22 January (also my first time in Newcastle). Very impressed. Stylish room, free mini bar, very helpful and friendly staff and fantastic restaurant. Added bonus of Sam, on reception, who arranged a very nice birthday surprise for my work colleague within minutes of my arrival, at no charge. Unusual level... More

My home town Newcastle ( well near anyway ) we live in Ecosse and went to the Toon on Tuesday to see First Aid Kit at City Hall ( fantastic ) as was the Indigo Hotel, what a gem of a place tucked a way in a part of the city that if I'm honest I rarely went too when... More

Great hotel, 2 minutes from the rail station and 15 minute walk to the Tyne Bridge. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms have obviously been planned with comfort in mind. They were also spotless and with the bonus of an unusually late checkout of 12pm. The free mini bar was the best we have ever encountered. The... More

Booked this hotel as we went to a gig at the 02 academy which is opposite the hotel and was very pleased. Staff were freindly and helpful, rooms were modern and clean. Quality of sleep is something very important to me as I have had bad experiences of being woken up at 3am by drunks in other hotels so I... More

Again, what a fantastic place to stay, right in the heart of Newcastle. The staff are top class and always eager to help. Another bonus is the top class restaurant, Marco Pier White Steakhouse that is part of the hotel. This is a must visit during your stay.

Not pretty from the outside, the inside is very modern and the rooms spacious, clean and very comfortable with great ensuite shower room. Spent a very enjoyable two nights at this hotel in early January 2015. The hotel is very stylish and has a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We loved our room....it was spotlessly clean, and the combination of black out curtains and an exceptionally comfortable bed meant that we slept very soundly. We had had booked the "breakfast included" rate and... More
