Great hotel, Great staff (Frank and Ivon) by myself and they are extremely friendly and welcoming ☺️ Bar is very cheap for a city which is a good thing! Would definitely stay here again, oh and also a good room and back to the staff again they are extremely helpful. Don't know what more I can say!

Stayed here on business with two others for four days. Wow this is value for money. The rooms were spotless, modern and spacious. The breakfast was included and cooked perfect. The location was also great , a five minute walk to the main road in the centre of Jesmond. This made the hotel quiet and peaceful at night. But and... More

I stayed here for one night- its was my works Christmas party in Newcastle. Early December. The check in was easy and the lady that dealt with me was very helpful, showed me where I should park the car and then ordered me a taxis into Newcastle. I was on my own and the single room was adequate for my... More

I stayed there for a second time after one year. Some changes in staff, there is a new friendly guy! Everything is almost the same except dormitories and shower - they really need some renovation. Breakfasts still good!

great value, friendly, helpful manager Frank made us very welcome on arrival, help and advise re parking., useful advise on local attractions and where to eat. 3bed room, quiet whilst we were there, but walls slightly thin, beds just ok, but would recommend for short stay at the price. Breakfast included in price a nice bonus. And a bar good... More

I stayed for 2 nights. I was greeted with that wonderful NE smile and was waved goodbye with the same great smile. The staff couldnt be more helpful. The room was absolutely fine. The breakfast was excellent. The condition of the guest house was neat, clean and tidy and I feel I had excellent value for money. I would definitely... More

To save space, I won't repeat the nice things others have said, but I agree! In addition, I found that the location is perfect for visiting the hospital: pleasant 20 minute walk or 5 pound cab ride. I was a bit shaken after a sudden family emergency landed me in Newcastle--the care and extra attention of the hotel staff, in... More

Friendly host, good location, reasonable price, clean and comfy room. Stayed a total of 4 nights. Was served an incredible breakfast each morning. Sausages, bacons, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes along with fresh hot coffee. Enjoyed my stay and will definitely return!

I wanted to stop outside the city center as I wanted to avoid noisy stags & hens and avoid car park charges. Unfortunately, I managed to encounter both issues staying here. On parking at the hotel I noticed there were "Resident Parking" signs directly outside. I asked with the gentleman who checked me in If there was a problem with... More
