stayed for 1 night while visiting the nightlife of Jesmond. Reception fine, then we got to our room which was tiny, no bath just a very small shower room. We could have coped with this, however in order to make more money it seems the owners had divided 1 large room into 2 with a cardboard wall. We could hear... More

Standard budget accommodation. Hotel is in a good location with lots of restaurants and pubs in surrounding area. Although hotel looks quite nice it is fairly basic. No lounge or bar and corridors could do with a re-paint. Room was okay but bathroom had a constant damp smell which I soon understood when I had a shower. The 'wet room'... More

I chose the Newcastle Jesmond for its proximity to the Freeman Hospital (walkable or a 5 min drive). The hotel is in a quiet area of Osborne Rd (not true of some others) and if you have time there are walks in a lovely park nearby. Booking and confirmation was done by phone and email - the staff were courteous... More

This hotel is in a fantastic location, only a short taxi or metro trip into the city centre. There was a group of us staying. I was in a double room which was a nice size, not huge but big enough! The budget triple room was quite small, the third bed looked like a fold up just squished into the... More

So let's start with the positives. The hotel is attractive from the outside, the rooms are clean for the most part (there was someone's dirty jumper in the wardrobe), and the bed is firm. The issues, on my stay the WiFi was unusable and kept dropping every few seconds, the shower was going from hot to cold randomly and the... More

This is not our hotel, I believe this is the hotel down the road. As you can see form the pictures posted, none of our rooms look like this. More

Although the single room was small it was well arranged, the bed was very comfortable and the wet room was welcome. 'Continental' breakfast also had some hot food and the coffee was good. The staff were friendly and helpful, although my room was not serviced during my two-day stay. 8-10 minutes' walk from West Jesmond Metro station. I'll happily stay... More

Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review. If you stop with us again (it should have been explained to you at check-in) you simply pop your sign out to get your room serviced. I'll speak with the team to make sure they are letting everyone know. Glad to see your overall experience with us was a happy... More

Thanks to all the staff at the hotel for making our stay brilliant, easy access to St James park and Newcastle night life. Great win for the Swans topped the weekend off. I would recommend this hotel, and look forward to staying there in near future.

I am familiar with the area of Jesmond, so when I booked this hotel for an overnight stay, at a very decent rate, I was not disappointed. The Reception staff gave me a nice welcome upon arrival, and I managed to get the last space in the car park. My room was more than adequate for just an overnight stay.... More

From our-albeit very early arrival we were treated like the only guests(we were not it was full). Checked our bags in had a lovely day in Newcastle, this was aided by a personal map of tube by receptionist. Room was well worth the money. Massive plus in these days of various chargers was the number of plug sockets- premier inn... More

Stayed over one night and it was a lovely stay. Staff are so friendly and helpful and just generally pleasant! Breakfast was lovely, bit of everything to start the morning off. We'll definitely stay here again and already looking at prices for our anniversary! Only niggling thing was it was quite loud early on in the morning but I imagine... More
