The hotel is ideally located for bars on Osbourne Road and fantastic value for the comfort, décor and modern fittings such as the smart TV and room card operation. In the room I stayed in, the bathroom was more of a wetroom so don’t be surprised if there’s no shower door/curtain. I would definitely stay again next time I’m in... More

While visiting my daughter over the holidays I spent 3 nights in this charming little hotel. Upon arrival I was greeted by Angie who was a darling! Not only did she promptly make me feel I was more of a guest in a home than a tourist in a hotel but this lovely women carried my rather heavy luggage up... More

Stayed here with my partner so we could stay at Newcastle for my birthday night out avoiding the city centre hotel prices. Some of my friends that were out with me also stayed here. Excellent hotel. On arrival we were greeted by a very kind lady who couldn't be more helpful. Check in was fairly prompt. Rooms were spot on.... More

Had a great night's sleep here, very comfortable rooms that were warm and cosy. Paid £56 for a room on a Friday night, which you can't really complain about! Facilities were a little basic but I suppose that's reflected in the price. Car parking can be a bit of a nightmare - as you will know if you are familiar... More

Stayed for one night on a Living Social deal. Our room was small but clean and adequate for the price we paid. The hotel is well placed for visits to Newcastle. Staff were friendly and welcoming especially the girl organising our excellent breakfast who was attentive and extremely efficient! Only downside is that walls are extremely thin.

Stayed with my sister while visiting my son at uni. Wasnt expecting much for the £54 paid for us both (including basic breakfast). Room nice and bed comfortable. Staff pleasant. Ideal position with about a ten/fifteen minutes walk to city centre. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here a couple of times, hotel is clean, rooms are ample and the staff are friendly, breakfast is basic ie scrabbled egg, beans, toast etc. There is no bar at the hotel although plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. A 20 minute walk would take the you into the centre of Newcastle or West Jesmond metro station... More

I stayed at the Jasmond Hotel in a Saturday night (11/10/14). Visiting my niece at uni I was just looking for a comfy bed for the night. As there was no single rooms left I agreed to pay the additional for a double and asked for a quiet room. I was given anything but. My room was in the middle... More

Spent only one night whilst working in Newcastle for a couple of days. had a minor issue finding the hotel as I initially went to the Jesmond Hotel which is on the same road only 300 yds away. However booked in fine and receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was booked late and contained a double and a... More

My room, 401,was on the top floor, an easy 43 steps above sea level. It had a wet room/bathroom with a fairly powerful and adjustable shower. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, along with a single bottle of water although the receptionist was happy to let me have another couple when I asked. The "budget double" room was fresh... More
