Staff kept telling noisy customers if they did not quiet down they would be asked to leave. A night later noisy people still in hotel shouting, laughing, banging doors and propping room doors open to talk to people in other rooms. Staff need training on how to deal with unruly customers.

Great place to stay if travelling early. Great location 30 seconds from airport. Once in the room you can't hear a thing. Only down side or I'd have given a 5 it gets to hot. But reception will give you a fan to cool the room down. Our room was spotlessly clean and beds so comfy . We stayed in... More

I've stayed here before and and always found it a nice place to stay. It now has new beds and a new fresh look in the rooms. Checked in by Richard who i spoke to throughout my stay. Very helpful and full of useful information about where to go and what to see. So if your staying there for tourism... More

Clean, comfortable, warm helpful and friendly staff. This is not an upgraded Travelodge, thus has a little more character then its more swish cousins. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of hot water and I can think of nothing poor about the place, there is ample free parking. BUT on a note of warning, next door is a... More

Rooms were warm quit and very clean. You get what they state very good beds and very helpful staff. Being next to a Toby inn made eating out for value for money very good. But there was no noise so very good.

The room was warm and comfortable with no noise ,which resulted in a good nights sleep . I will be repeating this stopover in... More

Arrived at 23:00 as previously arranged, was checked in immediately and quickly by a very effiecient gent after finding the slightly obscure entrance (believe the signs). Room was tidy and clean. Looked a little dated, but this was to be expected as I was well warned on the website this hotel was due for upgrading. Room was warm, bed was... More

It's actually 3 miles to the Airport - but an easy 8 minute car-journey or 4 Metros stops. Handy for the A1, Newcastle City Centre, Newcastle Falcons Rugby. A small Travelodge with a cheerful, welcoming staff. Attached to a "Toby" Inn where the portions are huge and the price is low!
