We have stayed here twice whilst visiting our son nearby in Jesmond. The hotel is well located for Jesmond and the City if you don't mind a brisk walk. The rooms are clean and spacious with little touches like complimentary orange juice, water and biscuits. Breakfast was ok. We think for the price it is good value and would certainly... More

Had difficulty finding the hotel entrance and there was some confusion about parking. As a restricted mobility traveller i had requested the accessible room and it is located right at the end of the passage so not that helpful. The room itself was great however. The parking issue was resolved by a temporary parking permit out the front of the... More

I stayed here back in June for 2 nights for a hen weekend with a party of 8 girlies. Hotel location is ideal for parking and train station, there is a car park next door and train station is 2 minutes walk across the road. When we arrived the hotel was very busy with other hen and stag parties but... More

Came to visit our son, booked day before. Got good price. Double room £64 inc breakfast. Great size, comfy bed. Good size room. Very efficient reception desk. In the morning when I asked for soya milk. They went out and bought it. The hotels I stayed in Dunbar and Edinburgh didn't do that and they cost more. So thank you to... More

Stopped overnight in a room on the 3rd floor booked through Superbreak. This is a standard hotel chain at a reasonable price considering the location. Friendly staff, clean rooms. reasonable breakfast (which was included in the price). There were tea/coffee making facilities available in the room. There is luggage storage at the hotel. which is obviously handy if you want... More

Think this hotel is overpriced, rooms are average hotel rooms not worth how much we paid thAts for sure, staff were a bit miserable! Would be ok for a quick nights stay but I couldn't of stayed here for longer than a couple of nights!

As a conference venue it works and all staff seemed to be switched on, food good etc etc However, I had driven 230 miles to get here after an already long day. I checked in and was pointed to the general direction of my room, it was a long distance away from reception. As I got to my door with... More

we booked on the internet and we admit we never saw the small print saying price was for each night, the way it was worded it looked like the total price was £117 They took £234 for the 2 night stay. We immediately phoned the number on the internet page to cancel but were not allowed to. When we went... More

I have stayed here on two seperate occasions in the last few weeks. The first time I arrived to find the hotel computer systems down. I had booked a standard room but as Priority Club Platinum member I expected an upgrade. As always with this chain I had to ask for the upgrade but was told as the computer was... More

Me and my freinds stayed at the hotel for one night on Saturday 11th March 2006. We arrived at lunchtime to a rather busy reception with other stag and hen parties checking in. The receptionist was cheerful and quickly arranged the keys and we was off to the room. The room was on the small side and smelt a bit... More
