All what you expect from Guest house and more. Lovely room, spacious and clean. Breakfast excellent and very generous. Location is 5 min away from City Centre and similar to the airport which was great for me. John is very friendly and helps a lot if you need direction or an early wake-up reminder. Friendly enough staff and hosts. The location is in a sort of sketchy neighbourhood. The Lobby and restaurant are really nice but the rooms don't match thatm -- pretty plain Jane. The TV channels are poor. If you're looking for Wi-Fi, forget it.

Only in Newcastle for a funeral, so not looking for anything special, but this place is special. Not least the wonderfully personal decorative touches. Don't be put off by the otherwise suburban looking street, it's within walking distance of the town centre.
