My boyfriend and I stayed here on 16th February 2015 for two nights. The hotel was undergoing some renovation work which didn't bother us in the slightest if anything it made our stay even better as the staff were over accommodating to our needs as a result of the work. Cut a long story short we got engaged late on... More

The Malmaison is our favourite hotel brand so where else to go to escape the madness that is the run-up to our wedding in 2 weeks' time! The staff are lovely, the hotel room (515) was amazing and on the large size. The food was perfect (except for my steak which was a little overcooked but the staff made up... More

I visited this hotel on 7th March as part of my Hen weekend, there were only four of us so we were not a rowdy bunch and we shared one of the four person rooms. Upon arrival we couldn't check in until 3pm, which was fine as we had other plans booked in advance, first impressions were that this was... More

I love the Malmaison chain ..... But it is losing its glamour and must have had quite a change of management. Arrived after a long drive and wanted to watch the rugby in the rather nice looking suite we had booked - but No - could not book in until after 15:00. Which irritated as that seems pretty late to... I feel bad putting this review in as ur was a Mothers Day Gift but to be perfectly honest I was gutted knowing how much she'd paid. Room was beautiful but very cold and dark. We couldn't work out how to work heaters and as TV and lights etc worked it wasn't until extremely late in the evening we tried... More

Stayed here for a night for my partners birthday. The location is extremely useful for the quayside being located near the pitcher and piano and millennium bridge. Parking is easy as the facility just over the road is used and incorporated in the bill. The rooms are well presented slightly on the smaller side but have nice touches inside with... More

This hotel is seconds away from the Millenium Bridge, situated on Newcastle Quayside. It has fantastic views from the Brasserie Restaurant of the Sage, Baltic Centre and Millenium Bridge, which look stunning at night. It is very quiet in this location at night, away from the noisy night life which is situated 5 minutes away on foot, next to the... More
