Breakfast was average, good location, clean, and the hotel staff were very pleasant. The chef's presentation could have looked cleaner. Very comfortable beds, free tea, coffee and milk and good price for 4 adults.

As a group of guys (17 in total) you can imagine that not everywhere would be overjoyed in taking us in but not The Osborne Hotel. Sharon and Leanne were very helpful by getting us a room to keep our bags in to allow us all to go to the game. Small bar was cheap and had a decent selection.... More

Dont be fooled by what others write. We came to Newcastle for a girls weekend .Taxi from the train station £9.00 and that was rush hour.(between 4 of us) On getting to the hotel we booked in with the girl behind the desk.. no hassle and a few laughs .....Nothing was to much for the hotel staff ....We were shown... Stayed here for 2 nights and it was really clean and everyone was very friendly, the staff were really helpful and cheerful. Amazing value for money, perfect for what we needed. The rooms were really clean and it was in a great location. Thankyou for a great stay! Would definitely visit again.

Stayed here for a night out, staff rude and the night supervisor he was very rude and disrespectful. The room we had was like an attic. It had a broken window (therefore room freezing), stains all over the bedding which made it difficult to even sleep there so I slept in my coat! Stains and damp/mould on the walls, chunks... More

Stayed here last weekend for 2 nights. As an ex Jesmond resident I knew what to expect from the area (traffic, loud students etc) but none of this could be heard from our room despite it being right at the front. Standard budget hotel which is what we expected after only paying £70 for a double all weekend, however we... More

The location is good on Osborne Road in students Jesmond. The rooms are fairly basic, but of a good size and the bed is comfortable. There is plenty of hot water. Much of the hotel is slightly worn looking and in need of a make over. Our room had some street noise. There seemed to be a hole in the... More

Room. Shower powerful and good as long as you don't mind looking at a little mould, Bed any bed is comfy when your drunk, Breakfast under staffed 4 got the toast and got a chipped mug, Breakfast its self was brilliant. Would stay again on a lads weekend not to be taking your good lady for romantic break.

Stayed one night for just £35.00 - unbelievable value by any standards particularly when comparing it to £95.00 for a faceless Premier Inn! Travelling solo but I needn't have worried the Reception staff were so friendly and helpful that I felt right at home! Single room was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable. Enjoyed an early bird dinner at the adjacent... More

You don't get much for £47.50 a night but you do at this hotel. Check in took less than 60 seconds, the communal areas were clean and well lit. My room (number 25) was on the top floor and had 2 single beds and was a very good size, seemed to have been recently decorated and was in good condition.... More
