Incredibily rude receptionist - trying to charge me for drinks that I had paid for by card in the bar. Was told the evening before by the lady behind the bar in the attached restaurant that I could not put drinks on my room bill because they were "separate" which I found incredibly strange!. So I paid by my debit... More

This was our beginning of our Hadrian's Wall walk and we read up on the hotel and so we were not surprised to see that it had seen better days. Having said that, we still slept well with the windows open to let some fresh air in.. What we still talk about is the food at the Persians restaurnt that... More

10 of us visited this bar on sat 21st March. Had to order food separately then the main course came before the starter. The kitchen seemed to mess everything up. They did give one of the couples a free steak as the steak was cold when it came but then they forgot about the steak they were giving him for... More

As hotels go this one suited three of us on a visit to Newcastle for a gig. The Hotel is easy to locate along Osborne Road. There is a small reception in the main hall as well as a seating area and bar. We took three single rooms and will say I was impressed by their size. There is an... More

Room basic and unclean, windows very poor and noise levels from streets outside disturbing. Breakfast staff from the Persia restaurant unprofessional and rude,,toast cold and cooked breakfast very poor.Would not recommend this place at all and do not consider it to be... More

For the amount of money you pay for a one night stay the rooms are very small and basic. I found mouldy pizza behind the loosely fitted head board, one of the lights in the room was hanging off the wall with exposed wires showing. The general cleanliness of the rooms were poor. The rooms were also very cold and... More

central to Jesmond so good for nightlife in the area or visiting students at the Universities. Walk to the metro so convenient if your traveling by plane or train. There is a restaurant on site for evening meal and drinks. The rooms are small but clean although there are lots of steps if your on the top floor - would... More
