Hen Party of 16 Stayed 10/10/14 until 13/10/14 Amazing stay, really comfortable beds, really friendly staff (told us all the best places to party at). Great bar entertainment by magic Adrian. Would highly recommend staying here - great location! x

Just back from a two night stay here with my partner. The travelodge has recently undergone renovation so rooms are nice and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we asked for an iron and it was delivered to our room straight away. We also had breakfast both mornings. There isn't as much choice as other hotels but you... More

Brill location, right near quayside. Lovely and clean, no issues at all. Fab breakfast and restaurant next door (all you can eat chinese) is the best one I have ever been too. Would definatly go back to both hotel and restaurant.

i wasn't expecting much here as it was a last minute booking, but I was wrong. The hotel was well placed at the quayside, only minutes from Newcastle centre. The room was bright and clean with the usual tea, coffee, etc. Breakfast was buffet style with Bacon,Sausage,Beans and Scrambled Eggs on the hot plate and Yogurt,Cereal and Muesli as a continental option. Only bugbear... More

Great value, great service, clean, tidy and good food. Large comfortable family room, large bathroom with bath & shower. Perfect for our needs, no complaints whatsoever, only praise. Highly recommended, why pay more?

Brilliant location with the beautiful Quayside in waling distance. Hotel comfortable, clean and with amazingly friendly and attentive staff. The onsite café is really useful and popular with people who stay there. The Indian next door is great too - Aneesas for a delicious buffet

Great overall experience, however on my final morning only way to breakfast as I walked along the first floor corridor I overheard a member of staff who I'm guessing was part of the housekeeping team( providing she had a dusting cloth in her hand) talking to another staff member (Sara), the women who sounded Polish/Russian said 'he was a gay,... What a mistake to assume that all Travelodges are the same. Had a great time last year in Liverpool on a stag party, so headed to Newcastle and stuck with Travelodge. The two nights there were a nightmare; the reservations were missing when we arrived (20 guys) and when we finally got that sorted, the fun (or lack of it)... More

Do not use Travelodge direction finder. It sends you the long way round. From Newcastle rail station turn right until you get to City Road. Hotel is on the tourist map but not named. In room 2 - which I was told would be quiet at weekends. Very comfortable and very quiet too. I would return here.
