Nice clean room with a recent reno. Kiosks for checking in. 1 block from the Newcastle Quayside walk and the Millenium bridge. Book a few months in advance to get the very cheap but nonrefundable super saver rate. Noisy people in from of the hotel at 5am.

I have stayed at this particular Travelodge on many occasions, mainly because of its location and that if booked early, you can secure a decent price on it. On our last visit a few years ago, it had become very tired because it's used weekly for stag and hen parties. It was nice to see that on my recent visit,... More

Arrived here wasn't sure what to expect, it is massive and has own car park, it was a swap from our original booking at Silverlink, Travelodge did everything they could to accommodate us, we had a fairly comfortable nights sleep, though we were woken early by workmen, our room sadly had an extraction fan alongside it, so this was a... Was very surprised about the quality of hotel. Recently modenised. Staff very helpful. lovely breakfast. perfect location. would defeinately visit and stay here again, despite the hotel being full of ladies on hen nights, it was surprisingly quiet in the early hours.

I have stayed at this place several times when I have visited newcastle and it's what you would expect from a travel lodge in a busy city great location but is always busy with stag and hen do's and parties but it's only a place to lay your head. Never had any trouble and always got great service. Would return... More

Typical travelodge. Beds comfortable, but pillows too thick, and duvet only suitable for a cold winter's night in the Arctic. Definitely needed air conditioning - the lowly oscillating fan was not up to the job and the window only opened a few inches, though you couldn't keep it open all night as would be too noisy in the city centre.... Fantastic staff who are happy to help with directions etc and good location. The Travelodge is a short walk away from the Quayside, follow this along and you are in the centre and all the shops. We had breakfast but I found this a little expensive was about £7 I think, all you can eat/drink so it’s great if you... More

The hotel is in a good location to visit Newcastle , the rooms are very clean and a good size , the staff are friendly and helpful. The car park is a pay and display next to the hotel and you can access the hotel through a separate entrance in the car park.

Stayed here for a girls weekend away. Hotel room clean and on the hottest day of the year, uncomfortably warm. Reception staff were very helpful and supplied us with fans. Don't be concerned that there are two 'bouncer' on the door, they are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. If you're going into town to party best take a taxi if you're... More
