Visited here overnight for a hen night. At check in, you need to give details of who is staying in each room and every person is given a key card (you need to keep these for later in case security ask, so don't lose them!). Rooms spacious and clean. Was very hot in the room. Staff friendly. There is also... More

Excellent trip, excellent hotel.. lovely location right on the Quayside, not too far from station and pleasant, scenic walk. Modern, clean and comfortable hotel. Bedrooms are larger than expected! Would 100% return to this hotel, recommended!

As a business traveler, you need to be on the lookout for cheap accommodation to keep the business expenses down at times, Travelodge meets this criteria and with their very modern and comfortable rooms you cant really go wrong. The main problem with this recipe of cheap and comfortable is its attraction to "hordes" (and i literally mean hordes) of... More

The hotel has been renovated since my last visit in 2013 which has seen lot's of improvement. However, for some nights (peak-season and weekends) you may need to pay something more than 100 GBP/night (excluding wi-fi or breakfast) and for this amount the money is not worth it! Yet, depending on the dates of your stay you may find some... More

Stayed here for two nights. First night, Thursday, was fine and quite quiet but the second night, Friday, was terrible. There was constant loud shouting from outside right under our window for about 2 hours in the middle of the night, maybe as people left the restaurant underneath the hotel. The room wasn't very clean with the bin still dirty... More

Many thanks for your review. While it is great to hear our staff provided a fantastic service it is regrettable to hear you were disrupted by noise outside of our hotel. We are aware out more central locations may be noisier but we will be sure to look into this with the restaurant nearby. It is also important to us... More

I wasn't travelling with my disabled partner this time and would most likely avoid this one if I was. The Car Park is underneath the hotel, but is down a fairly steep hill and the lift would have been a little skinny for our chair. The car park also has the most irritating ticket machines ever. Take Cash and be... More

Stayed for one night only when attending a concert at the Sage. The hotel is a simple 10 mins walk away. Very lively with stag and hen dos so it helps to be a bit tolerant (and broad-minded!) Surprisingly we had a good night's sleep and were not woken once. Breakfast was OK but some items were a bit overcooked... More

Excellent service, especially from the half filo receptionist who went over and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of. Thank you very much! The hotel itself was nice and quiet, making a great private and calm stay.

A group of us recently stayed in this hotel as we were carrying out a charity walk for MIND, along Hadrians Wall, we started in Carlisle and finished in Newcastle. On our arrival the staff could not have been more helpful or engaging as they noticed we had t shirts on and actively asked about the charity. Within half an... More
