We stayed here for a friends hen do and I can't fault the staff and service we received. I was a little disappointed that you had buy pay the full price for breakfast even though I only wanted some toast! But this in no way affected my stay or opinion of this hotel. One of the male staff went out... More

After reading reviews I was worried about staying here and I shouldn't have been. On arrival we were told we were to early to check in but we could leave our luggage at reception while we went shopping. When we did check in the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and when we entered our room found it very clean... More

We were planning a couple of days away in Newcastle just as a short getaway. Whilst looking for hotels we saw this one and whilst we knew a Travelodge wouldn't be fancy, you know what you are going to get. Or at least we thought we did..... Upon arrival we checked ourselves in (I found it difficult to rate the... More

After been told that we were being too loud in our room by the manager (which we wernt) we had our door swung open to 2 violent bouncers which countinued in our room and pushed 1 of us to the floor and were very aggressive towards us! We called the police and had to complain about then. Terrible place and... More

Just decided to have a last minute night away in Newcastle and me and my man booked here as I have stayed before. The stay was very pleasant and good value for money. Check in was smooth and hassle free, the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was basic, but clean and warm. Bed was comfy. Overall a lovely... More

Avoid at all costs this bed factory. No chair whatsover in your room, so why provide a television, you can't sit and relax. The all you can eat breakfast appears to be great value, that is of course till you find out you CAN'T eat it. The scrambled egg was rubbery and taste like paper, the bacon was boiled thin... More

I thought it was supposed to be noisy? But it wasn't a weekend. Was great and very quiet. Only small thing was that shower pressure wasn't as good as usual in travelodges and drain didn't drain v well. My German Shepherd Dog was very happy there. car parking for £5 made life easy. By Tyne and opposite Sage so good... More

I know for its price we should not expect a lot but arriving at the hotel at the sight of torn curtains dirty pillows and sheets, hair found in bed and with stained carpets and walls was not what we were expecting for anything that holds the title of a 'hotel'. I have visited 7 travelodge hotels all around the... More

staff were rarely at reception and service was a little bit slow, the snack bar menu option could have had bigger portions, the hotel could do with some cleaning as their were a few stains on the floor

This hotel was one of the worst hotels I've EVER been in. Upon entering, it stunk, and the staff were rude. I had to carry my suitcase up the stairs as the lift wasn't working, albeit no signs were put up, and I don't think the staff were aware of it. The corridors reeked, and most of the appliances provided... More
