4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed for just one night. The location was excellent - walking distance to the railway station, NUFC ground, and lot of pubs, shops and restaurants. The bed was just right for a good night's sleep, although the room was a little "tired". The front staff were particularly good.

Hotel is central to town centre and all you need to visit. Not far from train station. Really friendly staff and helpful. Rooms and hotel a little dated. Rooms are clean and we'll maintained . Beds are always comfy, rooms are quiet. Needs more plug points next to bed. I missed not having the phone charging next to my bed.... More

Great location. We visited for a concert at the O2 and shopping trip. Everything we wanted was within walking distance. The hotel isn't in great shape. It's very dated but perfectly adequate for our needs. The staff are amazing, as always. We've stayed at a lot of Premier Inns and without a doubt the staff are their greatest asset. I'm guessing... Hotel good, near centre of town. Would come back there, staff very helpful.. Only negative thing is the breakfast I would like to have a small amount i.e sausage sandwich or bacon sandwich but only full breakfast is served and not single items.

Stayed here for one night at £60. Hotel is in a good, central location (the city centre is literally the hotel's doorstep) and because of this, I initially had reservations about noise but was pleasantly surprised to realise that I couldn't hear any noise from outside - no traffic, no drunken revelries etc. so I had a good night's sleep.... I stayed here with my son who was attending an interview and applicant day at Newcastle university. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are a little bit tired and the air conditioning was really noisy. I managed to turn it off at 6 am but my advice would be to turn it off before you go... More

It is a really good location for Newcastle city centre, but it needs updating. The air conditioning unit in room 352 rattled when on, we had to turn it off as it was so noisy. Then it never really warmed up the room.. The bathroom was dark and dreary, it has an old curtain still. I expected the bathroom to... More

The main plus is the location in the middle of the city within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms adequate. The other big plus is that customers are not ripped off with exorbitant bar prices. There is a happy hour from five to seven when bar staff cheerfully serve buy one... More

Up here for my mates stag do for the weekend and was a great location for the nights out! James was a great security guard on the door helping out when needed too. Only reason it's a 4 not a 5 is because the heating wasn't working properly in the room so was quite cold compared to others on the... More

Good location being in the city centre, not one of premier inns best hotels though, is a little on the shabby side but staff are friendly. All in all not too bad for how much it cost. You get what you pay for!
