I've stayed at this hotel on four occasions with different rooms each time. The decor in the standard rooms is tired but clean. The beds are large although some of the rooms are not - leaving litte room to move around in. The exectutive/club rooms are bigger and have bathrooms which are vast but with few fittings. The staff are... more

I stayed here for a girly weekend shopping break with my mum after winning a competition for a 2 night stay (B&B) at the Silverlink. Thank god I wasn't a paying customer! I had a quick look at some of the reviews before we set off and figured it couldn't be that bad - it was worse! On the Menzies... more

A good hotel outside Newcastle. Close to larger retail shopping outlets. Rooms were quite good and the pool facilities were excellent. Breakfast was also quite good. The staff were friendly. Some rooms might be noisy during warmer months as its close to a major road and roundabout. There is a large supermarket very close by but you cannot walk to... more

I stayed here on a Sunday night on Business. The rate was only £55 Room only, this was because the hotel was virtually empty. The first room I was offered was small. Just enough room for a double bed, desk space and open wardrobe. Bathroom didn't even have a full size bath. But there was a problem. The heating wouldn't... more

Not worth the 4* rating. Gym facilities are but the hotel is not.... Do not go here if you are visiting Newcastle...approx 6 miles from centre £15 in a taxi.... Over priced for the rooms very basic indeed more

This is a nice decent hotel. Comes up to good standards, all clean and tidy. The outside and car park is a bit off putting and is a little run down, but inside its very nice. Th gym/spa/pool facilities are good too. Staff are friendly and helpful. more

Only stayed 1 night but still managed to get a discount priced double for only £65. Spotless room, bar & brasserie is quite large with plenty of comfortable sofas to relax on. Buffet breakfast was superb for £11. Nice size indoor pool & jacuzzi etc... shared with Health Club members & pity they looked out onto the car park &... more

My sister and I stayed at the Hilton from a Friday to Sunday. It is a lovely hotel and we managed to get a river view room. Only problem at this Hilton they have bedrooms diagonally across from the lifts on each floor and unfortunately one was ours!!! On the Saturday night about 3am – 4am a lot of guests... more

This is a good quality hotel and it provides good food in nice surroundings. I had 49 guests with me and no complaints all very pleased with the stay. Staff all friendly and willing to help. I would not hesitate to stay again at this hotel. more

I'm afraid I was lulled into a false sense of comfort before arriving by reviews and descriptions. "****": Oh no, that's me swearing as a fellow customer tells me the lift is out of action - 3 staff walked past me in ten minutes without a word, no signs or communication for the first 24 hours of my stay. "Recently... more
