Booked into Copthorne for one night on a Saturday, booked through laterooms and paid a bargain price of £53. Stayed here about 13 years ago and was impressed then but time seems t have taken its toll on this once great hotel. The place was very quiet which was to be expected just after xmas. The receptionist very kindly offered... More

My friends and I stayed at the Copthorne Hotel in December as we had a Christmas party booked in one of the function rooms. The party and the accommodation was first class. What impressed me most was that, even during this particularly busy time, the staff were very attentive to our needs both during the party and then again at... More

I often choose a hotel based up on the gym and swimming pool. The first night i visited this hotel the gym was closed at 8pm and I could not use it. The second night i made it to the gym, I went in to the gym and found a very dirty changing room. The floor was covered in litter;... More

Overall very good. Clean room, good service and convenient location. But a few improvements could be made. No atmosphere in hotel, we could have been the only guests there when we checked in late afternoon? Maybe a little music? Also mini bar/ fridge in the room could do with a few soft drinks at least, not just water. Also, (not... More

very good location and beautiful view. very convenient after a night out or shopping in the town. I heard the train but it was not noisy enough to wake us up. so I wouldn't say it's a problem. place is nice and tidy. very good experience :)

Having stayed previously at Copthorne hotel in Sheffield we arrived at the hotel with high standards, hoping for the same great service and room that we had then. Arrived in lobby staff were extremely helpful, but thats about as good as the hotel gets. Checked in, got into room (1st floor), noticed the bed was delved in, springs gone, the... More
