Had to sleep in bathroom due to noise from stag nights and hen parties and buses. Room windows only single glazed. i filled in feedback form but no response. You'd be better in a B&B at a fraction of the price. If you can travel a few few miles, recommend innkeepers lodge in Cramlington more

i was treated so badly at this hotel and got no satisfaction from the woman who calls herself the manager of the hotel. myself and my boyfriend were accused of making noise in the hotel and it was a different room when we tried to explain that we wer asleep they didnt have the decency to listen and called the... more

Booked this hotel last minute online as it was cheap. My boys wanted to see Newcastle V Liverpool football match and this hotel is very central. We paid £40 for three people bed and breakfast. Like others we struggled to find this hotel. We approached it from Newgate St and the only indication that it is a hotel is a... more

City Centre hotel in a 60s block that has seen better days. A gloomy place with a slight smell of wet dog as you pass through the long corridors on the way way to reception. The room was OK, but very cold, a general air of shabby (but not dirty) from the door lock that would have given way to... more

I stayed here with a group of friends for one night between Christmas and New Year and I can safely say this was one of the worst 3 star hotels I've ever stayed in! Rude, dismissive staff on the front desk, incorrect room type assigned, dirty, broken furniture, wallpaper hanging off the walls to name but a few!! On the... more

This hotel has a great location, but Quality it aint, fine for a bunch of lads or girls for a weekend when they will not be spending much time in the hotel, but not nice for a romantic getaway or anything like that, rooms are shabby and dirty, there is a breeze coming in the single pane windows even though... more

We booked a two night stay for £44.50 BB a night through the Real Hotel Company’s (the company which owns this and a number of other Quality’s in the UK) website, a knockdown from the £69 RO a night rate advertised on the official website for the same time. At £44.50 it is just passable and at £69 wouldn’t have... more

Whilst this hotel has a great location it is quite simply awful. The first impressions are that the hotel looks a bit dated and the room I had looked on the shabby side. The major problems I encountered was that I was awoken at 9.30am on Sunday morning by drilling taking place. What hotel manager would sanction noisy work to... more

I stayed here for one night before the Great North Run. After reading the reviews on here I would have cancelled and gone elsewhere if I could but the city was packed with no rooms free in a 50 mile radius. In the end I was pleasantly surprised. I booked a single, but ended up in a twin room; it... more
