what can I say? even though this was a bad time for me I had an excellent time once I reached the hotel. I had travelled up from Brighton on the south coast. When I did have a small problem as soon as I mentioned it, t was sorted. I felt like a queen staying here. And would certainly not hesitate... More

Enjoyed yet again my trip to this hotel. Staff excellent, very helpful, the food although indian isfirst class and authentic. You can walk into town from this hotel, approx 15minutes, downhill.Probably get a cab back to hotel as uphill. Price wise very reasonable especially if you take one of the meal deals too.

Filthy outside and a breakfast I would expect better in a cheapie hotel . Lack of choice, poor quality, and not what you ordered No facilities ( bar, lounge leisure ) no mention of internet , Pillows so hard you could use them as bricks , and a tap ij the bath that you needed a spanner to turn on... A little out of town but only a 10 minute walk in reality. Rooms are good with under floor heating, had a fantastic refurbished bathroom. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is amazing. I would highly recommend this place if your not so bothered about being very central.

Katy has been amazing, fantastic accommodation. Would stay again. Katy catered to our every requirement and made our stay feel homely and welcomed. If Katy does not have a pay rise this is a travesty, love from Tara and DAN

My wife and I joined friends for a weekend break in Newcastle and the other chap booked us in for one night and how glad were we that he did! Lovely friendly staff, very good rooms (204&206) which were both spotless and ideal for our needs at a quite amazing cost for any city stay. We did take a taxi... More

We stayed at the hotel after attending a Newcastle football game. The stadium was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. On arrival the girl on reception was very pleasant. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was the biggest bed I have seen I had a fantastic nights sleep. Will definitely stay here again when in Newcastle.

I enjoyed staying at the hotel. I liked the food and breakfast that I had there but the only problem was that it was quite a distance away from the train station. According to Google Map, it said 19 minutes walk from the train station but it took longer. We were freezing whilst we were having a walk to the... More

Dear Ben C, Firstly may I take this opportunity to thank you for completing the survey regarding your recent stay at our property. With regards to the distance from Central Station, it is a 10 minute walk, but all up hill. Depending on what route that Goggle Maps had taken you? I hope that we will have the opportunity to...
