£130 for 2 nights (Fri, and Saturday) close to the city centre 10 min walk to town (20 mins back, up a hill!) Best get a cab for a fiver after a late night, didn't really fancy the walk back into a pretty dodgy looking area. But, to be fair it's a really good deal. The receptionists were friendly and... This hotel is quiet, away from the noise of the centre but only a 15min walk or 5 minutes on No. 1 bus (£1.40 each way). Young girl on reception was very nice and friendly and gave us lots of information about the area. Rooms are o.k. Had to ask for extra pillows as they are very thin. Shower was... More

It wasn't perfect but I complain at all!. PROS: Good value for money Clean Comfortable. Walking distance from train station CONS: You have to rip open the shampoo sachets but I couldn't because I was too wet to grip them

Pay £20 pppn you get a hotel that represents that. In newcastle for gig for literally dropped bags off, straight out and then back to sleep, perfect for such a trip. Nothing flash, little tatty on close inspection, but it was clean which is key. Free on site parking. £4 taxi into city centre. Walking distance to metro arena. Don't... More

Stayed here when going to metro arena, it was so handy, a short walk into city centre and to arena. Free parking and a warm welcome. The room was smart and clean and had everything you could need-iron and board, hair dryer, a kettle and tea, coffee, chocolate, milk and bottles of water. The bathroom was very nice, shampoo, shower... More

Chose this hotel for a one night stay as it was close to Chinatown and had large parking area which is unusual for economy, central hotels. Adequate room if a little tired. Bed ok but pillows and bedding poor. No restaurant and only "continental" breakfast available.

The room was spacious ( exec double) bed wasn't bigger than a small double though. Few stains on carpet but overall Quite clean. Room 200. No coat hangers which was strange and more pillows are definitely needed. Value for money £60 For a Saturday night so can't moan too much. Would use again.
