Booked as a birthday treat by my girlfriend. The room (the Torres room) named after a wine rather than the LIverpool footballer, was very nice with great views scross the Tyne and to the Millenium Bridge, Sage and Baltic Art Centre. Very modern and contemporary feel within an old warehouse. Enjoyed a great meal at the hotel restaurant where the... More

A colleague & I were organizing a conference together, & decided to treat ourselves by staying here during the conference. We'd both stayed at several other hotels in the chain, so had high hopes of being able to wind down at the end of a long day in comfortable surroundings, with good cocktails and excellent service. We weren't disappointed. A... More

I stayed at this hotel for an evening with my partner and had a meal in the Bistro. Put simply this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in the UK. If you are staying in Newcastle this is the only place to stay for me now......

I booked the hotel as a suprise for my boyfriend for his birthday. I originally wanted to stay in Malmaison but Hotel Du Vin was cheaper for a larger room . The Hotel is slightly further away from the hustle and bustle of the city bars and pubs but it was a quick walk down the tyne to the Baltic... More

This hotel is lovely. It is a short walk away from the centre of Newcastle but actually a nice walk along the quayside and even in November it was fine. The rooms are spotless and the staff were really friendly. The food in the Bistro was fabulous and the Manager managed to get us a table even though it was... More

Myself, my partner and two friends stayed at Hotel du Vin & Bistro Newcastle on Saturday 3rd October as a surprise treat for my birthday and loved every minute of it. I personally spend hours reading reviews on Trip Advisor whenever I’m thinking of travelling anywhere but have never actually written my own so decided it was about time... Check-in... More

This is my favourite hotel in Newcastle. This is not the place to go if you like the standard offerings form the Hilton or the Marriot. You feel more special in this place, its not like just another hotel. Its has character and style. The rooms have names not numbers! So if I can get this for 99 GBP I... More

Cannot praise this hotel or its staff highly enough. Just returned from staying at the Hotel du Vin for the Great North Run (probably the Hotel's busiest weekend). The decor/design is gorgeous, staff really friendly and on the ball, and the food amazing. We ate at the Bistro on both nights and cannot recommend it highly enough. Looking forward to... More

Had a great time staying just one night. Lots to do in Newcastle with a lovely area under the byker bridge near the hotel in a redeveloped area. Stunning room with mezzanine bathroom. Lovely luxurious roll top bath and HUGE shower. Toiletries you're encouraged to take! Big comfy bed Free DVD library was a nice touch. Dinner was lovely although... More

Booked this because of the great reviews to celebrate our anniversary, choose a 2 night deal from their website which was £350 for mezzanine stlyle room with Queen bed, seating area, roll top bath and walk in monsoon shower, including express breakfast, one course dinner, glass of wine and wifi. We were disappointed to find our room did not have... More
