I took my wife away for the night on the Friday Tonic package. On arrival staff were very friendly & helpful opening the door for us. We were then informed we had been give a free upgrade, which was superb as we never have any luck. Our room was the Don-Perignon suite which was amazing. Couldn't have asked for a... More

The reception area have nice comfortable seating with... More

We booked this overnight wine tasting stay with a group of friends before Christmas. It was intended as a post New Year treat and that is exactly what it was. For £164.00 per couple we got dinner, bed and breakfast and a wine tasting. The wine tasting was great fun. The sommelier Ben was very knowledgeable and we had 4... More

Me and my husband spent a night here for our anniversary before xmas, we paid £200 for a deluxe room with breakfast and a 3 course meal which we thought was excellent value for money. The hotel bar is small and cozy, lovely atmosphere with a fire and leather sofas. Staff were very friendly. Our room was very spacious with... More

Thus far I've had 0 sleep as there are 2 flagpoles outside my windows that in the wind are making the building creak so loudly it's impossible yo sleep. Around 11pm I called reception to be told thst this was a problem and there was nothing they could do. They apparently have no other rooms available in the hotel. After... More

We went as a group of four and I came away disappointed. Tables are very close together, food choice is the same as a good pub although the quality does not match the expensive price tag and the wine waiter came to take our order 10 mins after we had ordered our food...

Another great stay in a beautiful room over looking the Ouseburn and the Tyne. Room was clean and tidy, breakfast great, reception great and my only gripe is some free water in the room wouldn't go a miss. We will return.
